Our second stopover in France, on our way to Corsica from the UK. Our room was VAST - could have slept at least 6 people in there. It was clean and comfortable. French window opening onto the garden, which we liked. Very quiet and within an easy walk of the town centre. Don't believe we're overly fussy, but we found... More

The second booking of this hotel was met with great disappointment because they had had and 'inondation', due to torrential rains. We were helped to find another one Now on our third/fourth visit we were again impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room we had. Again a room at the back is, for us. preferable because there is less... More

This hotel would have to be one of the most un-catered for places i have ever stayed in. For a start, the doors were almost impossible to close. It took both me and my aunt at least 6 times to successfully shut the doors. The breakfast that cost around €9 each and was very basic, and frankly, quite horrible. Wifi... More

Considering this is called "Hotel-Restaurant" one could be forgiven for assuming that you could eat. We rang on our way down to book for lunch on the day of our arrival but were told the restaurant was closed for a wedding. On arrival we could see no wedding but what was very clear was the lack of staff. What they... More

I have used this hotel on several occasions as it is a handy distance for me when travellling south to spend a night. Since my last visit I gather all the rooms have been refurbished, the one I was in had modern furniture and was comfortable. The lavatory is in its own cubicle. This room ahd a shower rather than... Basic room with no special features. Good stopover spot on way to Lyon. Secure parking. Nothing in town very exciting. The restaurant is a real sleeper. Excellent at all levels. Very reasonable prices. Seems to be the hot spot in town for the locals.

Very conveniently situated for the journey South, it is not far from the Anse exit slip from the autoroute. There is no entry slip when you resume but the autoroute is now well sign posted with good access to get back on before Lyon. The restaurant and breakfast bar are excellent and if the weather is fine the terrace makes... More

Have stayed here (just North of Lyon) many times over the years, usually on the way home after a skiing week. Tranquil spot just off the Route Nationale. Even the usually fussy children can't wait to eat here. How many English teenagers look forward to 'Oeufs en Meurette'? Some of the bedrooms are rather old fashioned but excellent value especially... On our way to the south we stayed for one night in this hotel, 30 km before Lyon. Generally speaking we should not complain considering the price (55 € per room). So let’s put things positively: - it’s hard to find such a small double beds (140 cm) these days - the room was generously sprayed with a deodorizer before... More
