Very dog friendly. Even allow dogs to stay in your room whilst you have breakfast. Owners very friendly. Comfortable room. Most of the rooms were occupied, but you couldn't hear anything, Ideal having your own front door when you have gods. Lovely breakfast. Hope to be back again soon!

A warm welcome on arrival. Shown to our rooms, which were across the yard. My only gripe is probably and end of season lack of maintenance. We were warned about the step, as the lights were not on and when returning later we were still in darkness. We had two rooms and both rooms had lights not working. End of... More

Stayed for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago, really nice room it was clean and warm tea/coffee kettle and microwave in room, breakfast served in the conservatory and is cooked to order which was very nice. Would defiantly stay again, there are on about 20 rooms all in a courtyard with free parking. Excellent value for money

Summarised version: Not a standard of a four star.  Rooms are adequate sized and cheerfully presented.  Breakfast is very nice and pleasant in the conservatory. Highly unfriendly, cold and brusque manner. Both are intimidating. NOT family friendly (was told to ensure my 2yr old did not drop food on the floor!), NOT flexible or accommodating (do not complain or ask for... More

I visited in my own on my way to a meeting. I was made to feel very welcome throughout my stay and even upgraded to a bigger room which was clean, comfortable and good amenities. It was away from the road and very quiet. Being on my own I was keen to find somewhere quiet and low key to get... More

Having now stayed here for several weeks, I can honestly say I would and have recommended this place to many colleagues who have continually stayed also. This is a family run B&B and the best I have stayed in. From day one , made to feel more than welcome and I definitely feel part of the family!! Stuart and Wendy... More

Ideal room for 1night x Mr grumpy does everything from checking you in to making your breakfast ! We managed to book this place for one night as we had a wedding near by, and what a delight it was, we checked in then went for a drink in their onsite bar which was welcomed by great locals, we realised it was hard to get a taxi as we needed to get to the wedding and the lovely... More
