We visited this B&B for cream tea as it was advertised as a place we could sit and eat as well as taking dogs into the garden if they were on leads. The place was completely empty so we sat where we liked and ordered our food and enjoyed the surroundings, kept the dogs close. Not one person entered this... More

As family and friends we stayed here for our daughters 21st (her choice), and enjoyed every minute of it! The rooms were clean and comfortable and they had recently installed a bar where we sat in the garden and drank the evening away! We couldn't fault this BB in any way and are looking forward to our next stay. We... More

Nice greeting and very friendly owners. carpet in room was a little bit on the dirty side. not enough parking for all guests. Workmen were staying at the hotel and were smoking right outside the breakfast room with the door open, not nice as our baby was with us. Very nice location breakfast wasn't bad and our son liked the... More

I feel the need to stress this is only a bed and breakfast, not a hotel, and if that's what you need it should be suitable. I would not stay here if you have children as the play area is not fit for use. We stayed in a family room which was tiny but clean enough. The shower was fine... More

The chalets are very tired, the bathroom is freezing, the shower was not too clean. There are connecting doors between the rooms which though locked means you can hear the person snoring all night next door. They forgot we were booking in but thankfully they were home. If fully booked parking is difficult. Also if fully booked you just have... More

Understand that the Old Rectory B&B is set amidst an ocean of caravans, static caravans, 50's chalet style holiday camps, kiss me quick hats and tens of thousands of ordinary folk enjoying their Sun newspaper £50 / week summer holiday special. I don't say that to be patronising or condescending, it's a fact, Brean is not The French Riviera. But... More

Just stayed here for two nights very nice room and the owners are very polite and helpful. Great choice on the breakfast menu . It's situated in a great place for pubs and restaurants . Would stay here over and over again.
