We loved our stay at Kahanda Kanda. We spent 3 nights here and it was so lovely and peaceful and felt like we were staying at our own private villa. The grounds are really wonderful as was our room (we stayed in the Peacock Suite). The staff were fabulous and the food was delicious. I am pregnant and a vegetarian... More

We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our honeymoon and would highly recommend it. We stayed in a room a short walk from the main buildings which was perfect. The fresh water pool is amazing and we did yoga which was incredible looking over the hills. The food is great and the only negative I can think... More

If you are visiting Sri Lanka then you would be crazy not to include a stay at KK in your itinerary, you will not be disappointed. It's simply a beautiful place, run by amazing people who genuinely want to make your stay there perfect. We have just spent 7 amazing nights in the Dubu suite enjoying the faultless hospitality of... We were unsure where to stay while in Sri Lanka, would it be in the tea Mountains, Animal reserve or coastal or could we squeeze in all 3 in 4 days?! All our problems were solved when I stumbled across KK. It ticks every single experience in one.4km from the beach. 1km from Virgin White tea company. Monkeys and iguanas... More

My husband and I stayed at the KK for 5 nights and it was absolute heaven. From the moment we arrived we were looked after incredibly well by the delightful staff and cannot recommend this place enough. Set in a tea plantation in the most beautiful surroundings the KK offers a large swimming pool, a fantastic bar and a stunning... More

The is a hotel like no other hotel. This is M&S hotel ( english humour) because the rooms are housed in small detached Bungalow and each Bungalow ( i'm using the word Bungalow because its the only way to describe the resort ) which is hidden away in the hills of Sri Lanka. is unique in itself, from internal double... My husband and I went for dinner. Little did we know what a gorgeous setting this would be. A sprawling tea estate surrounded by beautiful open bar and a restaurant close by with sunken pools in the middle simply made this an enchanting evening for us. Food was pretty great and we shared the evening with a few other couples... More

After a week of sightseeing and Sri Lankan roads, two nights and days at KK was the perfect pickmeup. The setting, staff and food were absolutely first class, and the bedroom was one of the best we have ever stayed in - loved the monkeys and the peacocks giving a background chorus, the verandah and the view. Not cheap but... More

Fantastic hotel that was hard to leave. Beautiful setting in a working tea plantation that has been magically transformed into a relaxing hotel. The individual chalets were absolutely superb. Each one individually decorated with homely touches and fresh flowers. Ours had a lovely verandah looking into the plantation with views of the wildlife including monkeys. The welcome was great with... More

So many people have reviewed KK more eloquently than I can, with deservedly excellent ratings. Difficult to add much more. This place is utterly sublime. World class style, food, service in an utterly stunning, relaxed and low key setting, that doesn't take itself too seriously. In short, it is my perfect retreat... If I had time I would wax lyrical... More
