We arrived here earlier than expected and after a long journey were tired and cold.We were informed that a cold spell was expected but there was no heating in the bedrooms until quite late in the afternoon (such a contrast to the coal fires and cosy bedrooms in other b and bs along the way) We retired to bed fully... Thank you for taking the time to write a review, however we find most of your criticism completely unfounded. Yes, it was chilly when you arrived but, by your own admission you did say that you were tired and always felt cold when you were tired, as we exchanged similar stories on that very matter. We did state that the... More

Our hard working hosts made our group of 8, walking the Moray Coast, very welcome and provided a delicious evening meal, quite the best we had on this walking trip. The room were very clean and comfortable and had views over the water. Breakfast was outstanding, each one of us being served with exactly what we wanted. Would love to... More

It was fascinating to hear how you all meet up for... More

We had a very warm welcome from Ellen when we arrived for our one night stay before starting to walk the Speyside Way. Nothing was too much trouble and we were served a delicious breakfast which set us up nicely for our walk. Would definitely stay here again.

There are B&Bs and there is Rosemount. On our 7-day tour of Scotland, this was a highlight. We elected to take the evening meal because our first day involved a lot of driving. The food was the best we had all week, even though we booked the best restaurants we could find. No pretentious presentation - just excellent ingredients superbly... More

Haven't stayed here but did visit today for a pre booked afternoon tea. Ellen is lovely and very accomodating, there were four of us and had unlimited tea & coffee, trays of sandwiches, scones with Jam & cream, bakwell tart (divine) blueberry muffins & the most scrumptious chocolate cake. We were made very welcome and we will be back very... More

Thank you very much for your kind review. So glad you enjoyed your Afternoon Tea. It would be lovely to see you all again for breakfast or any other meal - once we open the Restaurant at Struan House, the range of meals will be greatly expanded as I was telling you all with the focus firmly on fresh fish... Good quality accommodation towards one end of town, but given the size of Buckie nothing is very far away. Run by a nice couple Ellen and Andy but they don't allow alcohol consumption on the premises. They were very helpful in refering us to a local hotel and recommended an Indian restaurant and made reservatons on our behalf. The recommended... More

Thank you for your review. You are not the first guests to comment on the lack of eating establishments in the town, which is why we have started to do evening meals. Our meals are all home cooked from the freshest, and wherever possible, local, ingredients and for the few we have done now we have had some good feedback.... More

Thank you for your review. We were so pleased that you managed to find the information that you visited Buckie to find. It was unfortunate that the front of the house was a little cold the night you stayed as it was being battered by the very high winds from the tail end of Hurricane Gonzales!!! More

Ideal location for finishing ( or starting) the Speyside Way which ends/begins just round the corner.Clean, quiet, comfortable room.Ellen cooks a delicious evening meal if you ask in advance- generous portions which was just what I needed after the Craigellachie to Buckie stretch.Bus stop back to Aberdeen also very close which was handy.
