We stayed back in November for our anniversary, in the room that over looks the brill windmill. We love going to Brill to escape and we decided to stay at the Pheasant. Definitely worth it! They provide an informative visitors book of all the places to go and what not; a very comfy bed with the simple but very much... More

Have visited this pub a few times, and normally had a good experience. Last visit was disappointing. Food was expensive and tasteless. Not good value for money. at all :( Menu also quite limited. Wasn't filled with much enthusiasm when trying to choose. Don't think we will be going there again for a while, except maybe for a drink to... More

Service is always great and fab location. We come here regularly whenever visiting from London - sometimes we try and go just for a drink but inevitably end up staying to sample the menu (again and again). Unlike most places, they never make you feel like you are 'stupid' for not booking a table on a Sunday, if they can... More

Stayed for one night whilst visiting friends.Lovely pub with nice atmosphere. Steve the manager was very helpful and we had a very nice evening meal served quickly as we were in a bit of a hurry. We returned to our room in the Bakehouse, with a lovely big bathroom and nicely decorated bedroom. The bed was comfortable and we awoke... More

Our decision to book last minute couldn't have been bettered. Steven , the manager, and his staff were really welcoming even though we arrived part way through a 6 Nations Rugby match! The Pheasant is obviously popular with locals and visitors. We stayed in the Bakehouse, with its stunning views and understated comforts. It was a birthday weekend away to be... More

we stayed a night at the bakehouse and it was absolutely brilliant. The room was one of the best I ever stayed in. The amenities were exceptional and the bath was beautiful. Tip: ask to stay at the bakehouse if possible

We stayed here last Saturday night as we had a party in the area. We was very pleased with our room (room 1). The bathroom was very big and nice. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We had a drink in the bar and also ate dinner there which was very... More

First visit to the Pheasant and a very pleasant one it was. We pre-booked as a large group of 8 and we where we sat we had plenty of room, not at all cramped. Service was good considering it was very busy, staff were lovely. The food was excellent, plates piled high and very good quality. Would go there again... More

Stayed one night, on Saturday. Lovely room and very comfy bed. Bathroom had fab bath and shower. Great view of windmill and surrounding countryside. Didn't eat there in evening as going to a party but menu looked good. Had the full english breakfast, absolutely spot on and good quality ingredients.
