Stayed one night during our St Oswald's walk. Could not have been more welcoming, rooms immaculate, restaurant brilliant, breakfast great!. Worth making a slight detour from beach if doing Coastal walk or St Oswald's Way! Will definitely go back.

We stayed here for a night whilst at a wedding up the road. The owners of the B&B should have told us when making the booking, you need to book a taxi at least a week before you go, we were told the owner would give us a lift to the venue, who then on the day changed her mind... More

The Blue Bell Inn is a cosy little B&B above a very popular restaurant. Although this did not affect our night's sleep as it had closed by about 10.30. The room was small with a tiny shower room but had everything we needed and a comfy bed. The room itself was clean, although there were a few hairs in the... More

The room and en-suite bathroom were quite old-fashioned and basic, shower not the best. The host was friendly and welcoming and the property is a nice old building well positioned in the centre of the village. Perfectly fine, but could do with a bit of modernising.

This former old Pub, now run by Ella just as a B&B, is a decent middle of the road place to stay, but I originally selected it because I thought it was a pub and some of the reviews still give that impression. So beware, if you want to stay in a pub with rooms this is not the place... More

Lovely old pub., Our room was very clean and although small it had everything you need. En-suite again small but absolutely fine. Breakfast was good aswell :-). Room was clean and comfortable, although rather tired looking with a water stain on the ceiling. Slept well though as the bed was comfortable and it was all nice and clean. Very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was lovely. Went down to the bar on the evening although it wasn't serving food. As mentioned by another reviewer it was... More
