Booked this place last minute through Expedia on my phone for £54. Money well spent. The hotel has impressive grounds with a great view to enjoy with a drink. My room was small but well Furnished with a modern clean bathroom. It has a gym but I opted for a woodland run so can't comment on it.

Room small but well presented. Large shower. However, the conference centre is some way form the hotel and I didn't realise this was what I was getting when I booked. I'd have been really annoyed but I got a deal for £19 per night so can't complain. The hotel itself seemed quite tired adn shabbu so I didn't miss much.... More

I stayed here for a weekend on excellent room rates. the place is so peaceful it takes you back 200 years. You can experience the old library, the halls and the grounds which are reminiscent of a bygone era. Overall it was an excellent experience as the rooms were good if not luxurious. Free internet and parking make it a... More

Staff very couteous & polite, but not much else to recommend. We dont complain about anything-just dont return a 2nd time, but in our 1experience this was NOT De Vere standard. Given wrong key, entered room to find other people in room-very embarrssing! Finally got right room 2.10pm-not ready. Were off to wedding at 3pm but could'nt have bath cos... More

The general area and site looked beautiful but I had some concerns about what the accommodation would be like as it was a conference centre not a hotel and I'd read the reports here. I had been in the area a week before the planned visit and asked to see a room. The one I was shown was not very... More

We stayed at Latimer for a wedding this summer. The location and the grounds are truly stunning. However, it really IS a conference centre more than a hotel. It is an old manor house which has been extended to include conference facilities. We found the accommodation to be very small and cramped and the breakfast was decidedly average and involved... I have been going to Latimer for the past 4/5 years. As soon as I drive up to the house my stresses of the day just disappear! Latimer is an old manor house which has bee extended to a stunning conference centre. The accommodation is spotless, the food is very good and the leisure facilities suit all. There are many good local... More
