My husband and I have been here to meet friends for drinks a few times and always wanted to eat here so we selected it as our venue for our last pre-baby meal and were not disappointed. The owner and staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent, even from the girl who only started today! The summer ale... More

My husband & I called at the Queen's Arms on Monday 23rd April 2012. All we really wanted was a snack ie soup / sandwich. The menu was extremely limited & quite expensive, with no soup & two choices of sandwich both of which were meat. Due to health problems I am forced to eat a rather bland diet. As... More

We again stayed for the weekend at the Queens Arms. Excellent clean and well appointed room and really good breakfast. Personal service and now well managed hotel/pub. Superb location for a country or sporting weekend .Highly recommended.

Very well located just off the M4, and modernised in the right measure, we stayed here for a night on a trip to get out of Dodge. Our experience was wholly positive from being welcomed in to checking out. We also had dinner here and breakfast - food highly recommendable. We stayed in the Hunter room which was rather snug... We were in this area to view houses and were recommended the Queens Arms. It is a lovely place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are really helpful and friendly. The countryside is lovely in this area but it is conveniently located just off the motorway. We stayed in the Hardy room and the bathroom was amazing. We... More

The Queens Arms hotel is a great place to stay, with a nice decor and excellent rooms set in a fantastic location. East Garston is a beautiful village with awesome ancient cottages and it deserves a walk around on its own. The hotel pub has a friendly and efficient service, a great atmosphere and serves excellent meals and a very... More

We were looking for one night nearish to Newbury, but quiet. Found this on the web and were not disapointed. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable, each sponsored by someone, ours was by the Hunter boot people. Made it interesting. Clean, tidy and comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. We ate in the restaurant, great choice and... More
