A beautiful old rectory. Step back in time but with modern facilities and a lovely welcome. Wonderful breakfast in the dinning room and pretty garden to look out on. If you are passing and need a B and B don't hesitate.

Sue was very accommodating and helpful throughout my lengthy stay. She has a lovely house with a lot of history in it. The room was nice and clean. Whilst previous reviewers have said 'dated' or 'cluttered' I feel the atmosphere is far more homely, cosy and welcoming. Breakfast was always fantastic, using the best of the local farm-shop produce. The best bed and breakfast I ever been to. The owners are welcoming and the houses beautiful. You can see they thought about everything to make your stay enjoyable with great attention to details. The bedroom is lovely and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. I would really recommend!

Thankfully due to a cancellation we were able to make a booking with this delightful B&B. My sister and I needed a base from which to to visit family and friends in the area. We were welcomed by Sue and shown to our lovely en suite rooms which had all that is needed for a comfortable stay. I had a... More

I needed a room for a trip to Cambridge. I had to travel someway from Cambridge due to a busy period. This is a pretty old parsonage in a small village. The owners are kind, polite and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. I had scrambled egg, smoked salmon toast and tea. There was a copy of the Daily Telegraph to read.... More

Had a lovely stay here recently while attending a nearby wedding. Hosts were welcoming and offered us a taxi service to and from our venue. Coffee and biscuits on arrival was a really nice touch. Room was clean, with views of the garden and a comfortable bed. Breakfast selection is requested in advance and was quite varied. The Full English... More

Visited Taylard house overnight for work purposes. The accommodation was fantastic. Communication excellent, A very welcoming family feel to the place with lots of family photos around and a cosy feel. The house is pristine and the beds comfortable. The amenities were also clean and in good working order. Thank you for a lovely stay 😊

This is our second visit to Taylard House! Our first visit was six years ago and nothing has changed. This is still a terrific B7B. Sue and Andy provide a wonderful place to relax while in the Gamlingay area. The breakfast was made to order, the rooms with ensuite are clean and comfortable. And it is so quiet!

Needed to make a cancellation due to breaking down whilst traveling to this B&B (these things do happen). They said on the phone that it was fine to cancel and asked for my credit card details. The number, expiry date and security code! Without thinking, I gave them over thankful that they understood the situation and would allow me to... More

I was made very welcome the minute I arrived. Whether it was the pot of tea made specially for me in the living room just after I arrived or the lovely breakfast. The stay was the most relaxing I have had for some time and the setting and quietness contributed to the tranquility. The room was up to 5 star... More
