Very good meal as always in the restaurant. We had let a house so never sampled the rooms here. They are thoroughly recommended though and the views from the hotel are just magical. The bar was bustling and the other diners all seemed to be enjoying their food also.

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel compared to other island hotels. Rooms are spacious and adequately furnished to a very good standard and are very clean. Beds are comfortable. Nice in room extras such as home made shortbread and tablet. All staff are friendly and deliver a warm friendly welcome. Food us excellent quality and plenty of... More

We have just enjoyed 4 evenings of eating at the Coll Hotel and highly recommend all the food we ate. We especially enjoyed all the seafood including the seafood platter which included lobster. The lamb was also very tasty. For puddings we enjoyed the home made ice cream. Book to avoid disappointment. Thanks to all the staff for making our... More

Coll is a quiet place and the pace of life is slow. the hotel is the hub of the small community with a busy bar, restaurant and lounge. As a resident your table is pre-booked for the evening which gives you the chance to enjoy excellent seafood straight from the sea. The food is the best I have had anywhere... More

Isle of Coll Hotel was an unexpected gem on such a tiny island, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and always smiling, the views from our bedroom were amazing (just shame the weather wasn't!). The food was outstanding, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel, and i have to say the Creel caught Coll Crab Spagetti was... More

If this hotel were on the mainland it would be terrific, but when you consider the difficulties in getting so many essentials using the ferry, it really is very special indeed. There's nothing "flash" about the hotel, but our room - no. 2 - was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, with two easy chairs to sit and enjoy the lovely... More

There is only one hotel on Coll but it is a very good one. There's nothing fancy or pretentious about the hotel but is a very comfortable base for exploring this lovely little island. Our room was a reasonable size with comfy beds and a good sized bathroom. The food was excellent - lovely local sea food simply cooked, in... More

This is the only restaurant on Coll and it is always busy because it is very good. Went twice during our stay on Coll. The staff were always very welcoming and efficient. The macaroni cheese with local langoustines was different, but in a good way! Mixture of local pub, hotel and restaurant. High standard all round.

Had a delicious dinner here, good wine list and nice beer. We all had scallops for main course which were large and served in a generous portion - but most important they were cooked to perfection and absolutely fresh. There is a very assured chef in the kitchen, and the manager who looked after us was extremely welcoming and friendly.... More
