I went to this hotel for some food, we did not stay in the hotel just ate in the restaurant. They have two sittings 18.30 and 20.30 no other times. My food was very good and the others in my group also said that the food was very good, it is not cheap however they are not many places to... More

Was out for a celebration meal at Coll hotel and as I have a few allergies I was all set for the usual rigmarole but within a few minutes my meal was ordered as The chef came and I was so impressed as I for once was able to have my first choice as she said it was no bother... More

What a nice hotel. A great welcome. Comfortable room. Super food. Great bicycles to borrow. Nice garden with a fabulous view. Everything you could want for a relaxing break. Bring a good book in case the weather is bad and sunscreen and waterproofs too because Coll has some of the best beaches on the planet which must be visited. Mind... More

Staying two nights late March, we have had an absolutely fab stay in the Isle of Coll Hotel. We were picked up from the ferry terminal by the hotel's manager. Lovely and personal touch saving us a little hike. We have stayed in room 6 which has superb views across the bay. The first night we ate our dinner in... More

This perfectly located hotel has to cater for the local population needs and the visitor's needs which aren't always going to be the same. The building almost segregated the two functions in its layout, but with enough overlap to make both visitor and local feel comfortable. We had a wonderful two nights D. B. & B.here, greatly helped by sunny... More

You don't need a specific reason to visit Coll but if you did they are plentiful. The birthplace of Katie Morag, splendid beaches, island scenery are all great but the gem of the island is the hotel, specifically the menu. The extremely talented chef makes this, in my opinion, the best place to eat on the west coast of Scotland.... More

We were a group of nine, and we were met at the ferry with a warm welcome. The hotel is family run, the food is excellent, particularly the local seafood, the rooms good especially number 2 with the enormous, special bath with sea view! The coal fire was always well ablaze in the bar, the locals were very welcoming and... More

I was back on Coll for a few days with work. I didn't stay at the hotel this time, but dropped in on spec to get something to eat. I asked for a vegan meal and the chef came up with a selection of choices, which was pleasing to see. I opted for bruschetta followed by mushroom risotto. Both were... More
