We chose Sorrel Cottage because it accepted dogs, and both dog and accompanying humans were made very welcome. Our room was small (and en suite shower was even smaller), but spotlessly clean, well decorated, and perfectly adequate for a one night stay. There was a cosy sitting room with TV immediately adjacent. We had just been staying in a B&B... More

I stayed one night at this B&B during a cycling holiday in the Hebrides and I was very impressed overall with the standard. I stayed at 4 other B&B's during my trip and this was the best by far. The room was quirky and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and catered for gluten free.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Paula at Sorrell Cottage in Leverburgh on the Isle of Harris. We had previously booked in to another bed and breakfast but due to bereavement, we were redirected to Sorrel Cottage. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable with an en suite bathroom. We had a lovely view from our room. The service and... More

We stayed here for one night while touring the Outer Hebrides. Very freindly. Room was absolutely lovely and well furnished to a very high standard. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Great stay. I would recommend this as was good value.

A charming place! When we arrived Paula was watching the finals at Wimbledon, and we felt like we had really walked straight into the living room of a friend rather than at a B&B. Our room was very nice, and we were told to help ourselves to tea and coffee in the kitchen whenever we felt like it, and milk... More

We stayed at Sorrel Cottage for three nights and we loved the furnishing, spacious living room and dining room with complimentary cookies and tea/coffee to help yourself were lovely. Bathroom was so beautiful, decorated in the same seaside cottage style. Paula gave us a lift to Tarbert for 20 pounds to catch a ferry to Skye and also picked us... More

We had such a great stay for 2 nights at Sorrel cottage, What fun, What a landscape and what fabulous people. I think it must be the best B and B (apart from one in Inverness) that I have ever stayed in. Breakfast was Fab sheets were lovely and Paula puts her guests needs first. e.g. bikes. dogs, love it!

We had booked a holiday on Skye and friends said that we really must go over to Harris. So after searching for dog friendly accommodation we booked four nights at Sorrel cottage. Our room was just inside the front door which was handy for the dogs, had plenty of space and a shower you really did not want to get... More

We are just back from our island-hopping holiday and spent one night at Sorrel Cottage which was recommended to us by friends who live locally. Most importantly, we were allowed to have our dog with us which was very much appreciated! The bed was really comfortable - I loved the Harris wool cover, and the en suite shower was superb.... Stayed at Sorrel Cottage for a night in Harris.Whilst Harris was gloomy due to the bad weather,Paula's place was a welcome haven. All the three rooms had ensuites and were very comfortable and clean.Paula's attention to detail was impressive. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious and freshly cooked to order. However, as we had just arrived from the Orkneys, we found Sorrel Cottage... More
