The bedrooms were beautifully luxurious with everything we could possibly want. The cooked breakfasts were amazing (vegetarian daughter really well cared for). The sitting room was lovely. The setting was idyllic. The alpacas were an added bonus. We hope to return before too long.

One of my sons programmed my grand daughter's ( the daughter of his sister ) fluffy toy to say that Elsie, my granddaughter, had an Alpaca as her favourite animal. So Campsie B&B was an obvious location for our recent visit to my daughter in the north Glasgow ( Loch Lomond) area. What a beautiful place. Peaceful and a delightful... More

Staying over for just one night, we found our room (the butterfly room) to be clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The double bath was a huge boon and it could also be used as a shower. The Alpacas themselves were fantastic, tame enough to approach and more numerous than we had imagined. We got to see a baby alpaca... More

With the excuse of my daughters birthday, we decided to spend the weekend out of Glasgow and invite some friend couples with their kids. The cottages aren't far from Glasgow (40 mins) and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and the kids really enjoyed the alpacas. Parents also enjoyed the great BBQ place in the... More

Accommodation beautiful. Breakfast delicious. Sitting room was gorgeous. Lots attention to detail. On an alpaca farm.I even got to feed some in the morning. Amazing! Intended to visit Stirling but enjoyed the little villages around cottage area instead because they were so nice. Can recommend the old mill in killearn for dinner and the new award winning village hall for... More

We too booked for the B&B and were kindly updated to a lovely cottage, fully equipped and well presented. My bed was so comfy and the evening so quiet, what a lovely sleep to be had:) Freddie was a courteous host, and the breakfast beautifully cooked, a real treat. I'd agree with a previous review which said they couldn't fault... More

We were booked in for B&B but Freddie very kindly let us have a cottage so we could have a room each. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and a friendly and helpful host. I stayed while attending a weekend course at Art4you Scotland (also on the farm) and it was an extremely enjoyable and relaxing break.

Our family of 14 (aged 7 to 70) stayed here in July 2013 for one week. We had all three cottages at our disposal and had a fantastic time. The cottages were clean and well-equipped. Freddie couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, from tips and ideas around things to do to booking a superb lunch at the Lake of... More

My fiancé and I have recently returned from a short stay at Ballochruin Farm staying in one if the b&b rooms within the farmhouse. We were 100% satisfied with our stay. Having booked the stay because of our liking of alpacas, we were happy to see that this was a genuine, working alpaca farm. Freddie was more than happy to... More

Visit Scotland put us in touch with Freddie at the wonderful Campsie Cottages, which exceeded all expectations. Freddie put us up in the Barn, at very short notice, and we could not have asked for more. Well-appointed, clean, light, airy, lovely furnishings, good attention to detail and very comfortable. We will come back with family and friends, and have no... More
