We booked this B&B at fairly short notice and couldn't have been more delighted. Very comfortable, excellent accommodation and very welcoming and professional throughout. Great to be able to organise our day with lots to do whatever the weather. Particularly enjoyed Lake Katrine, hiring bikes for the return after our trip on the Sir Walter Scott, would have gone up... We have stayed there only one night but we have been surprise by the very friendly couple( the owners Alan and Fiona). The cottage is in the small village of Buchlyvie immersed in the country side in the middle of Scotland. The bedroom was well-finished and the breakfast very nice. We strongly suggest to go to this place if you... More

Very warm welcome and proper 'highland hospitality' including an excellent breakfast. No fuss, no hassle and great location; 20 steps from a superb village pub. Best night's sleep, out of my own bed, for many years.

Es ist ein Sozialraum vorhanden, mit Büchern, Feuerstelle und Piano für gemütliche Abende am Feuer. Das Frühstück wird frisch nach dem Wunsch des Gastet zubereitet. Tip: Fragt nach dem Kilt-Frühstück ;) Alan and Fiona are... More

This B&B is a very pretty house, Alan and his wife are very nice and welcoming people, and the room is very comfortable. The scottish breakfast was excellent, a very good way to start the day. The village is ideally situated to visit Stirling or Edinburgh. And I'm sure that if one day we return to Scotland, we'll go again... More
