As readers may conclude from my nomme de plume, I'm a Pirnmill fan and have been visiting since 1967 when my family had a holiday cottage in the village. Sadly, we had to part company with it in the 80's, but Arran has a unique magnetism for me that draws me back to it as often as I can manage.... More

Clisham is a well - run , very clean , interesting guest house with friendly owners and excellent breakfasts . It is a lovely old house built in early 20th c. and with fine views over the sea . I thoroughly recommend this excellent and hospitable place as somewhere on Arran to stay in very contentedly .

Very friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely b&b with everything you need. We cycled round from Brodick so it was a very welcome pit stop for the night with a great bath! Defintely would return. Excellent value as well.

Diane was a delight to revisit, it was like visiting a relative that you haven't seen in a long time. We try to revisit all B&B's that we have been extremely pleased with if back in the area. This visit was just as we had experienced on our first visit, if you are visiting this area you should give Clisham... More

We had three enjoyable nights at this B & B directly overlooking the Sound towards Kintyre. Our room was comfortable and relaxing after a day out, with a lovely view out to sea and ideal for birdwatching. The house itself is welcoming as was Diane its owner who had lots of helpful information about the island. Its location was ideal... More

On-property car park a decent size Warm, friendly and genuine welcome. Good-sized room Good-sized bathroom Lovely and tasteful decor (with... More

Lovely room with great bathrooms- Both rooms had Wonderful views as did the Breakfast room. I would highly recommend this to anyone going to Arran.

We stayed here with our infant son and nothing was any trouble for Diane, she made sure every part of our stay was perfect. The double room was large with everything we needed supplied, it also had an en-suite which was lovely and clean. The sea view was amazing and you can sea the sea whilst lying in bed! Breakfast... Diane made us very welcome and had been very helpful when I called to book, recommending the Lighthouse restaurant just down the road. The children enjoyed playing on the grass out the front which is right across the road from the sea. We had a great sunny evening which I know makes a difference, but it truly is a beautiful... A very pleasant 1 night stay. Beautiful room, great view, very warm welcome, fantastic breakfast. Lots of attention to detail, lots of nice touches. One of the best b+b's we've stayed in. Looking forward to coming back...
