Wow, what can I say. The food was amazing. The waitress was very helpful. It was clean and tidy. With the added bonus of fantastic views of the river. Highly recommend this restaurant. Didn't use the hotel rooms so can't comment on that area but it was fully booked so that must say something.

Just back from another relaxing weekend at The Inn On The Tay, Grandtully. I would like to thank Josie and Geoff for maintaining their high standards in providing very comfortable rooms, excellent food both in the bar and restaurant and for creating a very welcoming ambiance all round. This was our third visit to The Inn and, hopefully, it won't... More

the waitress!!! Boy was she having a bad day. She was abrasive, snapped our heads off, hit me in the face with the menu and failed to apologise, honestly I can say she was the rudest waitress I have ever encountered. There is more but I can't be bothered. It spoiled it for us, although she did soften a little... More

Having booked for evening dinner, my partner decided to surprise me and booked a room for the night as well. We were met by the owner who could not have been more welcoming. She was very pleasant and had a lovely smile. The rooms were spotless and very nice. Plenty hot water. Our evening meal was excellent and service from... More

This is a wonderful little hotel overlooking the River Tay. Our rooms were gorgeous with fantastic views over the river - the bed linen was very luxurious and the bed itself was comfortable. There were many thoughtful touches in the room as well including quality toiletries and tea and coffee. The food is truly excellent with an exceptionally good breakfast... More

My Wife and i pooped in to the Inn on the Tay today 17/08/2014. The place is stunning in it's simplicity and the exterior views are to die for, Scotland at it's finest!!!!. I was recommended the Chicken, Bacon and Haggis pie by the " owner?" I have to say it was a good choice, i didn't finish it as... More

Had a lovely quiet one night stay with my partner this month. The location right next to the river Tay is beautiful and great if the weather is nice enough you can sit outside on the large pateo area. If you have to sit inside staff at the hotel try and sit you next to the window looking out into... More

We had a itison voucher and we stayed here for two nights and it was lovely. Room was bright and spacious. It was also to the front which was a little noisy but not too bad. The food is really nice too - so much so we ate here both nights. Chicken stuffed with haggis and whisky sauce was amazing!!!... More

Beautiful small hotel (6 bedrooms) on the south bank of the river Tay opposite the stunning "Highland Chocolatier". The room we had was spacious and elegant, overlooking the river where white water rafting and canoeing are regular activities. The hotel has a decking area looking on to the river and where, on our first night, most people were dining (warm... More

Just back from a great 2 nights at The Inn on the Tay. Beautiful setting, stunning room (room 5) which has fab views over the River Tay. We were lucky enough to get great weather which was perfect for sitting on the decking to watch the canoeing. Only hitch was the shower....not working the 2 days we were there but... More
