Just home from a two night stay. Rooms are huge with everything you need. Fantastic views of the river. Lovely and warm. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. Area is beautiful. Pitlochery and aberfeldy well worth a visit. Bar area is fantastic and barman excellent. We ate in the restaurant one night and food was great. Good breakfast too.... More

Stopped by on a whim as we returned to accommodation at Mains of Taymouth and very glad that we did. Delicious food and generous portions, great value for the quality. Spiced plum crumble is from another planet, simply delicious. Good choice of kids meals too. We ate in the bar area which was very welcoming, restaurant looked good too. Great... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was huge with lovely views over the river, well equipped and lovely Arran Aromatics toiletries. The restaurant was spacious, again with lovely views and the food was so good we ate there on both nights. Breakfast served at the table was excellent and my husband said the home made porridge with white chocolate... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights with just my 2 young boys, both under 3 and I had a brilliant stay. The owners and staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I have had and my eldest couldn't get enough of it either. The minted lamb burger was also top notch... More

Had lunch here and had the best of times. We were given the warmest of welcomes from our host who then gave us the choice of three venues to have our lunch, we opted for the restaurant which has the most stunning view across the river Tay. All the staff we encountered were an absolute delight. The food was beautifully... More

My husband and I went back to the Inn on the Tay for a short break after I had been quite ill to give us some time to relax. We found that the staff were as warm and welcoming as we remembered. Our room was huge, spotless and very comfortable. The food was very good and plentiful. We will definitely... More

Stayed here in June and again in August. Lovely little inn. Fantastic food. Nice friendly owners. We were lucky enough to have great weather in June so were able to sit outside eating and drinking with a beautiful view of the river. We ate in the restaurant in our second visit which was also very nice. A few drinks in... More

Wow, what can I say. The food was amazing. The waitress was very helpful. It was clean and tidy. With the added bonus of fantastic views of the river. Highly recommend this restaurant. Didn't use the hotel rooms so can't comment on that area but it was fully booked so that must say something.

Just back from another relaxing weekend at The Inn On The Tay, Grandtully. I would like to thank Josie and Geoff for maintaining their high standards in providing very comfortable rooms, excellent food both in the bar and restaurant and for creating a very welcoming ambiance all round. This was our third visit to The Inn and, hopefully, it won't... More

the waitress!!! Boy was she having a bad day. She was abrasive, snapped our heads off, hit me in the face with the menu and failed to apologise, honestly I can say she was the rudest waitress I have ever encountered. There is more but I can't be bothered. It spoiled it for us, although she did soften a little... More
