We have stayed at Inn on the Tay, situated between Aberfeldy and Pitlochry, four times now. The owners and staff are charming and helpful and genuinely go out of their way to make your stay special. It's a delightful, peaceful haven overlooking a fast flowing part of the River Tay, where you can relax and watch canoeists hone their sailing... More

Just back from two nights here, it was a really lovely place. Excellent food, rooms really nice with lots of little personal touches & brilliant views. The staff / owners were so nice & you really felt very welcome & that they would be happy to cater for your every whim. We will defiantly be returning.

Enjoyed our Thursday to Saturday B & B stay. Owners and staff were very welcoming and eager to help. Ate dinner in the Inn on both nights. The rural, riverside location is superb and would have been enjoyed more if the weather had behaved. Grandtully is well placed for walks and excursions. The restaurant is bright and airy and inviting.... More

We stopped in for dinner on our way back to Aberfeldy while on holiday. The staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional and the views from the windows were unbeatable. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't get a table outside but it was busy and the area inside was lovely. Would definitely... More

Just returned from another wonderful 2 night stay at this excellent little hotel. Setting on the River Tay is absolutely stunning. Rooms are spotless and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There are lovely views from Room 2 over the river. Geoff, Josie and staff were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the porridge... More

Just spent three nights here. Faultless! Ideal location on the banks of the Tay. Sat on the deck with a drink watching the canoeists riding the rapids. The room was spotless - the bed large and comfortable. Lovely restaurant also looking out on the river.and the menu was excellent and varied. Beautiful breakfasts - especially enjoyed the porridge with honey... More

Our stay at The Inn on the Tay was 'awesome'. Myself and my husband stayed here in June 2014 with our friends who have stayed here a number of times and sing its praises - how right they were! Geoff, Josie and their staff are lovely, genuine people who could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed the whole weekend.... More

Stayed at the Inn on the Tay with my husband and dog in January. Loved the place. We stayed in room 6 (the only one which takes dogs) which was really spacious (two singles joined together and another single) so could easily take a small family. The room is off the bar and has its own door so really handy... More

I cannot recommend The Inn on the Tay enough. Myself and my (now) wife stayed here with our wedding party prior to the big day and our guests stayed here for the rest of the week in May 2014. Geoff and Josie are simply amazing people who made our stay a magical and welcoming experience. The location is stunning and... More

We have stayed here on several occasions, and the Christmas Ball alongside their New Year Party is fantastic. The rooms are spotless, have comfy beds and en suites are superb. Suitable for couples and families alike, food choice is varied, nothing is too much trouble for them. Its a lovely retreat for chilling out or if you prefer, you can... More
