Dropped in because the place we were planning to eat at was closed. Given a great table by the window with spectacular views. Extremely friendly staff, lovely surroundings and very welcoming to the children. The venison I had was superb, cooked to my specification. I shared a dessert with one of my children and the waitress brought out extra cutlery... More

Worth driving 10 miles off the main road - best Cullen Skink ever. My son had it for starter and pudding. Steak and burgers all impressively executed. Perfect lunch and impressive view of River Tay. Oh and I should mention the home made tablet with the coffee! Makes the cold wet summer visit to Scotland worthwhile.

We stayed here overnight, having attended a 100th Birthday party in Aberfeldy. The hotel had been recommended by a friend and certainly lived up to our expectations. We got the last available room which was comfy and light. One improvement would have been a bottle of water as having several wonderful cocktails I was thirsty during the night!!!! The food... More

What a lovely place. Excellent views. Had the burger meal although would have preferred it if there was original plain cheese. Staff were friendly. Only issue was my friend is in a wheelchair & we had to use the disabled toilet, there was a big round table in the toilet which was an absolute nightmare to get moving. Not very... More

We popped in here for some lunch as we were staying In a hotel near by. First impressions were great and the scenery fantastic. The food was beautiful and I must recommend the 'pie of the day'. It was chicken and mushroom and was very very nice. The service was excellent and the lady was very helpful and friendly. The... More

Stayed at the Inn on the Tay for two nights on a deal I picked up through 'it is on'. 4 of us stayed on a bed, breakfast and dinner basis. Rooms were very spacious and clean, but the best bit was the food which was excellent. Grandtully is just a small place that I have driven through many times... More

This has to be one of my favourite hotel experiences. From booking to checkout, I found everyone so helpful, friendly and accommodating. We stayed two nights on one of the hotel's own deals, which was exceptional value, although I suspect these won't be available over the summer months as it is such a popular place to stay, drop in for... Two nights dinner B&B. Overall very clean, tidy, welcoming. Public areas are well presented. Bar cosy, restaurant bright, airy, tables well spaced & great view over the river. The bedrooms are well appointed, good size & again a fab view. We were in room 6 which takes dogs (& owners) very nice room, private stairs/entrance to it, nice linen, comfy... More
