This is exactly the kind of comfortable, unpretentious and generally super place one hopes to find after a very long day on the road.

We went there for a family celebration and were extremely disapointed. The food was extremely bland, and the service not what i expected. I appreciate the hotel was busy, but they should not have taken the booking if they were uanable to cope.

We stopped of in Meikleour yesterday looking for an old friend. We weren't sure where she stayed but it's a tiny village so we thought someone would know her.

Clean, friendly, breakfast was good & served early enough for me to get on the road.
If I'm being picky the room decor was not exactly my taste but it was clean & bathroom was clean & functional.
