We can’t speak highly enough of the Ardeonaig Hotel. Our wedding was held here in January 2016 and we truly had the most amazing time of our life. We had contact with the staff via e-mail (as we live on the other side of Scotland) and arranged a meeting in the summer of 2015 to see the actual venue and... More

I visited with my partner and dog. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Louise in a comfy reception room with a warm fire. She said that as we were the only guests for the evening that Bobby could come off the lead. Bobby was so happy he darted off wagging his tail. The bedroom called the Thistle... More

We stayed in Ardeonaig in Jan 2016. Louise greeted us on arrival and our beagle Bob ran all around the place he was so happy to be there. We had the hotel to ourselves - we were so grateful they opened for us on the quietest day of the year! We had a wonderful afternoon tea and took Bobby down... More

We visited this hotel for Hogmanay and had a really lovely time. We stayed in one of the cottages which was very impressive with its spacious rooms and wonderful views. The hotel itself had lovely cosy lounges with open fires , the food was absolutely superb and beautifully presented, the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful everyone went out... More

A little gem of a hotel quite remote in some respects but well worth the journey- it is approximately 2 hours from Edinburgh- even in December in flood hit Central Scotland. Tremendous food and service - I definitely hope to go back !

This was our second trip to the Ardeonaig and first under the new management. We first stayed in 2011 and it was fantastic so we were really looking forward to our return. The location is beautiful. You feel as though you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere and the views across Loch Tay and to the mountains beyond... More

Went with friends for Hogmanay celebrations, and were not disappointed. Homely, and very comfortable country hotel, with open fires and lots of character. Stayed in 'Wild Salmon' complete with rugby shower and log burning stove. We were so well looked after at all times by friendly and professional staff. The Chef's dinner was outstanding. We could not have asked for... More

Food focus on local, seasonal products with wonderful results. Staff couldn't do enough to help you relax and enjoy your stay. Log fires and cosy lounges. Beautiful scenery and great walks but near local villages if you want to get out and about.

We had a fantastic time at the Ardeonaig Hotel as a family. The food was excellent - both breakfast and dinner and the staff were very attentive but not intrusive. I loved the fact that they picked herbs and fruit in the orchard and garden and within the hour what they picked was fresh and lovely on your plate! They... More

We enjoyed our stay there very much, only 2 nights but it felt like staying in a lovely country house - drinks served to you while sitting in front of the fire in the drawing room, lovely food in the restaurant and the staff couldn't do enough for you .. Beautiful views from the room and a little stroll to... More
