I have always wanted to stay here and now I have! It did not disappoint! The drive to get there was exciting and spectacular, the welcome was great and the hotel was cosy and warm and inviting. Then we had dinner! Ammaaazzzzzing! Loved it and I hope this place goes from strength to strength.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here. As with the first time, our stay was difficult to fault. The setting is idyllic and well worth the drive along the south side of Loch Tay. The hotel is very clean, warm and comfortable. The setting is perfect, whether you enjoy cycling, walking or generally relaxing. The staff... More

We stayed at the hotel for five nights. The rooms were warm, comfortable and had a view over Loch Tay. The service was attentive, but not intrusive, the food outstanding. We had a very restful break in beautiful countryside with plentiful views of water, woods and wildlife, including the iconic golden eagle. Unparalleled break. We'll be back!

Ardeonaig has had well documented problems in the past but since its re-opening in June it has not looked back. It was our first time staying though we have driven past on many occasions. Happy to say, everything about our stay was perfect. It is a cosy, peaceful spot, ideal for getting away. We had a wonderfully warm welcome, drinks... More

After 10 happy years a Nov weekend away with friends at Dalmunzie Castle and a highly disappointing visit last year we decided it was time for somewhere new. We were not disappointed with the Ardeonaig. Idyllic setting, excellent experienced hotelier for our host, great food, wine and a good winter DBB rate. We felt relaxed, comfortable and well looked after.... More

My husband and I were here October'13 and loved it. The accommodation (Sheiling), the service & the food were all 1st class. We had booked to go back for Burns weekend but that was cancelled due to the hotel being closed down. We were so happy when it opened again and went October'14. We wanted a Sheiling but were told... We have stayed at Ardeonaig before so were keen to show off the beautiful location and lovely hotel to family for a birthday treat. We stayed mid week and off peak, so perhaps that was to blame, but the staff were not particularly welcoming and the bathroom was dirty in our room as was the communal one in the main... More

Loch Tay is a special place to our family and although we have visited many times for morning coffee with their huge scones and cream which are mouth watering, we have not stayed for many many years. BIG mistake! It's a wonderful hotel with log fires, peaceful and quiet, tranquil ambiance. Charming and comfortable surroundings, sofas dotted around the hotel,... More

After motoring out to the hotel on the recommendation of a friend we had an excellent vegetarian evening meal. Quite often we find that we can produce a better meal ourselves at home not this time it was great. Not only that the service was excellent and the ambiance lovely. We will be back hopefully to stay as well.

We stayed for one night on the occasion of our 10th wedding anniversary. Staff lacked warmth. The room we were allocated had extremely poor sound insulation to the adjacent room. The biggest disappointment however was our evening meal, which at £32 each for two courses was just awful. Bland and lacking in quality. We won't be revisiting.
