It was our second time staying at Casa Linda’s: it is like being at home as the sign on the wall says: “Mi casa es su casa”. Linda’s house is not only a great B&B but also a fantastic private folk art museum. Linda is a very well connected and knowledgable guide: we so enjoy her trips and conversation illustrating... Casa Linda is a unique B&B. We enjoyed all the outside areas in the beautiful large garden that includes a well, a fountain, several sitting areas and very nice breakfast area. The house displays so many crafts, paintings, pottery, rugs from Oaxaca but also from other regions of Mexico that it would take hours to see all of them. The... More

Casa Linda is a secret gem of a B&B a few minutes outside of Oaxaca town by taxi in Huayapam. The house is the best folk art museum you will ever experience yet complete with all creature comforts, including gourmet breakfasts, endless cookies, and evening wine and snacks. Except when there is a wedding next door the accommodations are very... More

We didn't stay at Casa Linda, but we did hire Linda for three days of visits to artists' homes and workshops in the villages north and south of Oaxaca. This was a pure delight, and I am certain that anyone who stayed at Casa Linda could arrange the same sort of experience. At every place that we visited, it was... More

It is a real pleasure to write a review of Casa Linda. I just spent two nights there and could not have been more comfortable. Linda is an exemplary host and did everything and more to make my stay enjoyable. I took one of her tours to the nearby artisan communities which she tailored to me as I was the... More

Our recent stay at Casa Linda was the perfect introduction to the food and folk art of Oaxaca on our weeklong trip there in February. Linda Hanna, the charming and accommodating owner, picked us up at the airport, which we greatly appreciated after traveling all day. Many reviewers have spoken of Linda's folk art-filled home and lush garden, but it... More

Its been 2 years since we stayed at Linda's and i have never written a review on TA before, but i found myself reminiscing about this wonderful place and lady the other day and had to share what a unique and special experience it is to stay with her. Incredible gardens, and house, crammed with amazing folk art, and of... More

I recently spent a week (21-28 Dec) at Casa Linda with my 87-year-old mother and we both had the time of our lives. Linda's place is inviting, beautifully decorated with folk art (the pictures don't do it justice) and comfy. Linda and her friend Sam cooked us delicious breakfasts and dinners, including a full-on Christmas feast, and made us feel... More

We met Linda Hanna, highly recommended by so many in Oaxaca, and proceeded on an unbelievably rich one day tour of villages, down to Mitla and back. Clearly, Linda is an integral part of the cultura of Oaxaca, and she interacted with respect and affection at each place we stopped. What a joy to watch the artists at work, to... More

Linda's home and garden are an exquisite collection of Oaxacan folk arts.We arrived very jet lagged from Australia late at night and Linda picked us up at the airport and took us straight to an incredible fiesta in her local village. Linda patiently worked with us to design arts focused trips that accommodated our personalities and specific arts tastes. We... More
