Went for a lunch on a Monday - very good service. Beer was well kept and enjoyable. The fire in the stove was also welcome. I had ham, egg and chips which came with a small side salad. The eggs were running, the ham was thick and the chips were crisp outside with fluffy insides. i would recommend this pub... More

NYE 2015 We were attending a friends party in Ewshot and chose this pub purely for the short distance to get back after the party. Easy to book and the landlord is a very nice friendly man which always helps. They had a NYE party in the pub and we were invited to have a drink if we arrived back... More

We booked a table at the Plume of Feathers just before Christmas. We received a pleasant welcome and the waitress was efficient in bringing the drinks to the table and taking our order. The food however was very disappointing, particularly as the restaurant was quiet when we arrived. The seabass fillets were served with a very thin broth rather than... More

Crondall is a half way point for us to meet friends who offered to take us out to dinner. We had eaten there during the Summer and were happy to eat there again. Sadly the meal was not up to our last visit and the service was very poor. One of the young waiting staff just could not be bothered.... More

We were attending my friend's wedding and because we live in the midlands, we had to stay overnight in a nearby Inn. We chose the Plume of Feathers because it wasn't too bad in price (£70 for one night) and it was only 4.5 miles away from the wedding reception. BAR/RESTAURANT AREA The decor is nice and old, beamed ceilings... More

Upon arriving in Crondall around 4PM, we noticed that the Plume of Feathers was closed untill 6PM. However, if you go to the back of the property (at the terrace), you can ring the bell 'Private' and then they come to give you access to the room. This could be better explained or marked... The room itself is cosy but... More

Stayed at this pub last night, and can honestly say that its worth a visit. There are only 3 rooms, and they are small, and due to planning restrictions only have a small window, but ... they are clean, have Freeview TV, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and well laid out shower room. We were made very welcome... More

There is little doubt that the weather on the 1st July 2015 was a corker. High temperatures led to our party eating outside in the delightful garden area. The surroundings were perfect for what we needed and we managed to find enough shade to enjoy our food. The menu offers something different, but 'the difference' is couched within good traditional... Great room, easy parking in pub car park ,very comfortable beds, lovely shower room, plentiful hot water, perfect access for our regular dance venue in the village couldn't ask for more, except perhaps a 'loyalty discount?!!'

A really old (16th Century) pub with a warm welcome and a cosy bar and dining room. The food in the evening was excellent. I had the "Slow roasted lamb shoulder" which was succulent and tasty. The only (minor) downside was the small size of the accommodation which is at the rear of the pub. Breakfast was a little expensive... More
