I recently attended an organisational development day at Stumer Hall, what a fabulous venue in a rural setting, It is ideal for conferences and is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. Stumer Hall is traditionally decorated with hotel rooms available, in the well kept grounds is a venue in the style of a marquee. The food provided was excellent and nothing... More

Our daughter held her wedding at Sturmer Hall last weekend, and had the wedding she had always dreamed of. The staff worked very hard to ensure everything went smoothly and like clock work. myself and my husband would like to extend our sincere thanks, to everybody involved making this a truely special day, which we know our daughter and her... We went to an event at Sturmer Hall recently (Elvis tribute act) and had a fabulous weekend. We were a bit unsure as to what to expect as we had read mixed reviews about the owner being miserable. He was a really nice person, easy to talk to and made our stay at Sturmer Hall most pleasant. We shall be... More

Sturmer Hall is a great place, set in Suffolk countryside. Huge log fire and friendly owner & staff. Food is wholesome and plentiful and the bedrooms are excellent - certainly the ones in the main house at least - really big and well furnished. A real sense of luxury at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended. My only reservation was... More

We recently visited Sturmer Hall for our friends Golden Wedding Lunch. The venue, setting and food were all perfect. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, polite and friendly, with a special mention to Tina and 'Gary Barlow look alike' !. We would definately recommend Sturmer Hall.. Can't comment on the owner as didn't see him, perhaps... More

On arrival we were shown to our rooms which were spacious clean and very comfortable. We had two doubles with en suite and a tastefully decorated/furnished living room. There was also tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits supplied. The staff went out of their way to meet the needs of each person, from ironing board to menu variation. The dinner... More

I travelled here recently to see my favourite singer Russell Watson .A treat for my Birthday . After paying nearly £100 .I had to pay a further £10 to park my car on a muddy field . A lot of the audience were elderly and there was still a good walk back across the field with heels on .As well... More

This venue was amazing. Their motto is 'Seeing is believing' and when we walked in on the day, we saw why. The time and effort put in by each & every member of staff could not be faulted! My daughter's wedding organiser was Tina who could not have done any more for the happy couple, nothing was ever a problem.... More

The hotel is situated about 1/4 mile from the road but isn't well signposted so difficult to find especially in the dark - turn into the unmade road next to the garden centre sign and drive past the church. Also car parking is behind the main building but not clearly signed. Bedrooms are large and well furnished and it was... More
