My wife and daughter who's eight have collectively reached the conclusion that this vacation to Pierre's resort was our best vacation ever. The extra plane trip to Long Island is worth leaving the overpopulated glitz & glam of Nassau or Freeport. Upon arrival to Long Island, there will be plenty of welcoming local taxis awaiting to take you to Pierre's... More

Please disregard the negative comments you may have read about Pierre. We found him to be great, funny and an extremely good chef. It is amazing what he can do on an outer island in the Bahamas. Additionally the value of his place is outstanding, and very centrally located for all of Long Islands activities and sights. For privacy, beachfront... More

We never got to eat here. As cruisers exploring the island we had heard great reviews on this place. Late afternoon we stopped to see if we could get a drink and maybe something to eat. First he tried to ignore us and one repeated hello's got a half heated response as he turned his back and walked away! We... More

We stayed for 5 nights in February. The food is as advertised. We still compare every salad we have to Pierre's and haven't had one come close yet. The accommodations are simple and fine for us, we didn't hang out there much though. I would call it luxury camping instead of a resort though. We heard all sorts of stories... More

My husband and I booked the Chez Pierre for our honeymoon/bonefishing vacation. We weren't looking for super luxury or a ton of touristy accommodations. We were looking for something simple, and off the beaten path. Chez Pierre is just that! The open-air bungalows were the perfect size for the two of us and with a great view right on the... More

Chez Pierre is well off the beaten track (about 1 mile of unmade road from the road running North/South) - 6 beach front "huts" on stilts on a glorious beach that is shared with nobody other than other guests staying at Chez Pierre The accommodation is basic and has seen better days, but the room was clean and relatively comfortable.... There are very few places like Chez Pierre. Simple, laid back, uncrowded. We were expecting less and were pleasantly surprised that the guest houses were so nice. No frills, but nicely tiled, clean, reasonable size with a screen porch and large bathroom. And only six of them, right on the beach. Beautiful water. Great food. Brackish showers were expected so... I stayed at Chez Pierre ten days (Christmas-New Year), and did not regret one single day! The cabins are really good, and for ten days I've been listening to the waves rolling in at the beach - some few meters away. I really miss that sound! You snorkel in a gigantic aquarium, you are fed very well (remarkably good food)... More

We had a wonderful time at Chez Pierre. My husband and I stayed there for two weeks and we enjoyed every day. The location seems like paradise and the water is super-clear. We went snorkeling every day. As it was the end of September, we were the only guests at the resort - which was really enjoyable. The beach huts... More

Chez Pierre is a real gem in our much too crowded and noisy world. Situated in the middle of a large bay with only the 6 guest houses and the main house, all right at the beach, nicely hidden in the green of the beach bushes and trees. There is no one exept the guest from chez pierre; and as... More
