We were at the Landing for three nights last week. We liked our room. Bed was comfortable and pretty, AC in room worked well, outfitted with chairs, towels and umbrellas. Bathroom was plain, maybe dated, but all white and clean. They are supposed to be retrofitting with better (tiled? new?) tubs and showers this fall. We were visiting Harbour Island... more

The hotel definitively has a lot of charme. But bathrooms and the pool area as well as the garden are not what you expect in this price range. Same for the food is over priced for what you get like the whole Bahamas. more

I have stayed at The Landing approximately 10 times over the past eleven years (even before it was renovated). Each time I was warmly welcomed and my stays there were more than satisfactory. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and the rooms immaculately clean (and I am very picky about cleanliness). As a travel journalist I constantly stay in... more

This hotel is a joke. Rude staff, noisy, dirty rooms, not at all as advertised. Never anyone around to help you except at dinner time in their over priced restaurant. Find a different hotel if you want a nice vacation. more

The Landing is a nice, old fashioned hotel. Nice rooms. Very well situated on the Island. Staff was welcoming although not easy to find anyone who works there after 4pm. A bit noisy since it is on the most passing street on the island but a mostly enjoyable experience more

This is an honest review. I hope to save other unsuspecting travelers from being completely shocked and from having their vacation ruined like ours. Avoid this dirty, mildewy, moldy shower, dark roomed, over rated hotel and it's obnoxious, rude staff at all costs. It is not at all how it appears on their website. This was supposed to be a... more

I took my family on a little vacation (my husband and 2 kids) We stay in the family suite. The hotel reminds me of my home which was built in the late 1800's. The Hibiscus room was very comfortable. They have beach chairs which we were able to take to the beach, instead of having to rent them. The food... more

My wife and I stayed at the property recently and enjoyed it very much. It is important to remember that this is a small inn and is far removed from the casino-beachfront glam that exists on some of the islands. There website does not do them justice in providing information. They do take American Express. Our room was equipped with... more

I loved staying at The Landing. My room was great, it was perfectly simple and met all my needs. I liked being located in town and found the walk to the beach a good way to get some exercise, wander around the island, meet people and see the different sights. I enjoyed my breakfast every day and enjoyed the perfect... more
