Everything about the atmosphere invites you in. The food is amazing, personal faves are goat cheese ravioli and the steak. The staff is exquisite. Toby's morning coffee, Tracy's enormous smile, and the casual yet elegant ambiance is nothing short of amazing.

This is my fifth or sixth visit to a beautiful inn that offers a comfortable well-decorated room, a charming bar, breakfast and dinner on a veranda that overlooks the Harbour, and a location that's in the middle of historic Dunmore Town. Having provided all of that, the Hotel leaves you alone to enjoy yourself, but staff will help when asked.... More

I am presently staying in the same room as this complaining couple. Yes there is construction next door. I was informed about it prior to my staying here. Once inside the room, with the door is closed there is no noticeable noise (even with the drilling machine, which is yes quite loud when one leaves the room). The Landing has,... More

Where to start?! From the moment I arrived (delayed due to airlines) it was perfect. Since I arrived after typical check in hours, Tina greeted me at the most wonderful bar with, "Hello Jake!". Keep in mind we have never met. I knew from this greeting that I was in the right spot. I proceeded to have the most perfect... More

For $400 per night, I expect to not have a building site, with pneumatic drills, cement mixers and 15+ workmen directly outside my room. Sadly, that is exactly what my husband and I experienced. On our honeymoon. The hotel management at no one time informed us of this situation, prior to us checking in, and having taken 2 flights and... More

First and foremost we are so sorry to be a part of anyone's disappointing vacation and especially a honeymoon. We had no idea that the construction that is taking place at the property next door had caused any disturbance to our guest . We had 4 other guests in house at the time of this reservation and all of them... More

Nothing bad at all to say. It was superbly run in a casual inn style. Tina, the manager on duty when we were there, was on top of everything and extremely helpful. She had put us in three rooms in the Library building and all were well air-conditioned. While there weren't many other guests during our stay, I expect in... More

Maddie and I stayed for a week in June in the Buttonwood suite. Staying at the landing has been a dream of ours for years and we certainly weren't disappointed. From the moment we arrived we had nothing but the most wonderful time with a great welcome from Dawn and all the staff, who went way above expectations in making... More

I am staying there july 22, there are 6 in our party including 3 kids and I will write an accurate report. I requested the 3 special rooms others had suggested. For years I have dreamed of coming to this place. Made famous by Vogue, India Hicks, her life and family steeped in the modern history of this island and this house. The fabulous intimate parties in the courtyard and bar and the warm breeze of the islands and it's magic scent. From this viewpoint The Landing was a huge disappointment,... More

Regarding Amelia B's comments .. [I was at the Landing the same time she was there.] There is NO fee for wifi. Breakfast is bountiful and fresh, and a comparable bfast anywhere on the island is around that price. The Landing does not rent golf carts so "Amelia B" would have had to rent it off property - that has... More
