We were promised a fridge and stove which are in some of the rooms but they upgraded us which was a nice surprise but it didn't provide the appliances and we love to fish and come back and cook. However the hospitality of Ma Ruby's son Dr. Lee made up for it and so did the rest of the staff,... More

I have been going to tingum village for many years now. Every year it gets updated more and more with the time. :) It feels like a home away from home. The staff is friendly and makes you feel like you are family. Also, the food is amazing. The "burger in paradise" is so tasty and the chef makes the... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for all of 2 hours. After checking in and seeing the room we hoped in our golf cart to find another place to stay. The rooms need a tremendous amount of updating and cleaning. The rooms may have been fine about 15 years ago for the "rustic island" style they are going for. I... More

Recently stayed at the family owned Tingum Village Hotel and found the hospitality second to none. It was special to have "Ma Ruby" greet you in the morning and a "good night" in the evening as she has been doing for "decades", yes "decades". In the mornings I was also greeted by the chief who knew exactly how I liked... More

I loved the lobster snack and bath tub with the whirlpool function. Ma Ruby and the whole family: Thank you for your support! I loved the very long Pink Sand Beach and the small Town Dunmore with many small shops.

We found many things to like about Tingum Village, but we also felt like we were at the bottom of the food chain as far as accommodations go. It is a reasonably priced hotel on a very expensive Island. You will feel like you are slumming it when you see the other places you could have stayed at along the... More

You feel like family the moment you arrive. The thing I loved most about it was the wonderful family running the hotel and the feeling that I was getting an authentic Bahamian experience. Not just some boring generic chain hotel. But to enjoy your time in a hotel is arriving with proper expectations... The rooms are clean. For people who... More

For 10 days I hinged with their wifi in a cozy real Bahamian style lobby while staying in the private property next door. They treat me like a part of family. I really feel at home here. Looking forward to be back with all my family!

You will feel like family at Tingum Village. Family run hotel, with great accommodations, restaurant, and libations. And the prices are the best in Briland. Rooms were clean and comfortable. You can enjoy a great meal in the restaurant and enjoy an island drink while you visit with locals and visitors a like. Kat

Tingum Village has it all. Charming grounds, comfortable rooms and owners and staff that could not be more accommodating. Lee, Juanita and Mike are always so helpful providing carts, rental cars, making calls for airline and restaurant reservations and doing anything they can for visitors who need help learning the ropes. Mike is a great chef and goes out of... More
