Went for lunch. Great menu including light options, and Bajan dishes. Best draw is the lovely setting overlooking the Atlantic. Service is very good, as it is everywhere in Barbados. A really good stop off if driven ground the island.

Had a lovely meal overlooking the surf. Attentive staff & delicious food in a great setting. Would go again. The brie in walnut is a winner! As are the coconut shrimps! Watch the birds... They steal food out of your hands!

We recently returned from several weeks over on the west coast and visited the Round House on one of our final days for lunch. It was the best meal we had on the island- with the most lovely server (as usual I didn't get her name, sadly). The fish pate was delicious and my picky teenager said the coconut shrimp... More

My family and I travelled to Barbados from Canada in June 2014. On our previous visits to Barbados over the years, we had stayed regularly at the old Atlantis hotel in Bathsheba. Its authentic Bajan charm and great food appealed to us - we always found a warm welcome there. Since our last trip however, the Atlantis Hotel was sold... More

Both times we've been to Barbados we visited more times than was fair to the other restaurants on the island. The food was great (notably the camembert that had been baked in rum), the location is perfect as it looks out onto Bathsheba and the restaurant benefits from the cooling Atlantic breeze.

My wife and I have been to Barbados on numerous occasions. Our firs time was while on a cruise and then we have stayed on the island for three more times. We rented a car and tried to arrive at the ROUND HOUSE at lunch time. This restaurant is really in a remote location but I think this is one... More

I came to the Round House with my boyfriend and we stayed in Room 4 for a week in March. Location-wise, it really is far from everything (which we saw as a plus). You really have to rent a car if you stay her, and driving is SCARY!!!! (especially for Americans not used to driving on the left side of... More

Had a late lunch here on a drive around the island. Superb spot, straight out of the pages of a glossy travel mag. We had flying fish and pulled pork sandwiches, chicken salad and burger, all were delicious and all plates were clean at the end! Enjoyed trying the bread fruit fries. Spent some nice time on the quiet beach afterwards.... More

We have been to Barbados many times, we love it, but this year in January we visited the Round House for the first time for lunch. It was a special occassion as we had met up with dear friends from Canada. My dear friend has cancer and we wanted to make the lunch special. We had such a beautiful table... More

Any visit to Barbados must include coming to The Round House Inn which is or was a hidden gem, that now appears to be hitting the spot with more and more people. Four years ago this place was still good even amidst the depression that had damaged Barbados tourism and has now had a sympathetic face lift and is even... More
