We visited the glenuig inn 3 times in the past week. Food was excellent, landlord friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable about the local area and activities. Didn't stay over to check out accommodation but thought the food prices were reasonable and reflected the quality.

Having been an annual visitor to the Glenuig Inn for some years now, I have experienced it before, during and after renovation and have witnessed the truly astounding transformation, and so have been perplexed by some of the negative reviews on this forum. On my most recent stay (April 30 – May 3, 2012), I found the place bustling with... More

Had a meal for two recently which came to £62 (bottle of wine, two mains, one starter). Overpriced. Moreover, the mezze plate was laughably bad. Pheasant pie was tasteless. Fish dish was OK. Tried to get a cheeseplate just before the kitchen closed but apparently I was too late (on a very quiet night when business was v slow). Landlord... More

I will not be returning to the glenuig inn, and just for the record its £4 for a pint, not £350 as claimed, even the locals avoid it, sums it up really, and its such a shame as it used to be a lovely place, and could be again but only with a change of owners,

The worrying thing about the Glenuig Inn on Trip Advisor is the inconsistency of the reviews. It seems that every few bad reviews is immediately followed by a little flurry of good reviews. Draw your own conclusions! I for one, having been a regular customer, though not a local, for many years, no longer go there. The atmosphere in the... More

My partner and I stayed for one night and we found the Glenuig Inn to be an absolute treat. The food was particularly good with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The building has been completely refurbished and improved and this may be disappointing for some hankering after an "original" inn but what has been created is a fresh, stylish (lean... More
