Went there for lunch after having fun with our daughter on the beach and I have to say the food was gorgeous! Everything (apart from probably the skinny fries) seemed to be home made. The hand cut chips myself and my husband had with our burgers were the best chips we have ever tasted! Absolutely amazing and my breaded chicken... More

This was the first stop on my 50th Birthday Tour of Western Scotland. The large room was fantastic over looking the bay. The staff were brilliant, everyone helped you out, if you were waiting at the bar or in reception any of the staff that walked by asked if they could help and there was a Wedding on too which... We stayed the 7th and 8th March for my birthday. The room was not what we expected, holes in the walls and doors which had been patched up, hot water tap in bathroom sink constantly running. No milk for a drink the first morning, just not a 4* hotel. Very disappointed, the website just does not give it justice

We used the hotel for our civil partnership and from start to finish the staff were wonderful. The food is excellent, rooms are very clean and there is always a warm welcome. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a bite to eat to having a function. Keep up the good work guys!

Get a good rate and this is a nice place for a stop over. We were overcharged, they tried to charge for breakfast when we had a B&B rate. It was however rectified without any fuss. There really isn't a lot in Ardrossan so I wouldn't recommend a week. It served us well though for a 2 night stop over... More

We got married in the Lauriston hotel in July 2010. We had our ceremony, meal & reception there and it was fantastic. The staff were tremendous. The manager at the time Kenny was superb I'm sad to hear he no longer works there. It was a fabulous day and the staff at Lauriston helped make it a great day as... More

Four of us went for the Friday steak dinner and were staying the night at hotel too. Each of us were very impressed with the choices on the menu, plus the portion sizes. Steaks were to die for, totally amazing. You have got to try them. Compliments to the chef for the full dinner. Bar staff and Jennifer made our... More
