Six of us ,at my suggestion, had a meal to celebrate my birthday at Trigony. Disappointment set in when we were presented with the dinner menu. It was a poor imitation of the online menu which had been the main attraction of this restaurant. Having previously decided that one of the several choices of lamb or pork dishes would be... More

My husband and I stayed here on the way up and on the way back from Fort William. We were not disappointed! It truly is dog friendly and our miniature schnauzer was made to feel very welcome (even getting her own sausage at breakfast!) we booked the garden room which was perfect with its own conservatory and garden which suited... Stayed last week for one night. Rooms 7 & 8.... Both lovely with nice attention to detail. We were all very happy. Room 8 is large, room 7 very compact. Views from all windows were charming. Bathrooms were also very nice. We enjoyed meeting some of the dog guests and thought it a real novelty to share public spaces with... More

We spent two nights at Trigony to mark our wedding anniversary. The welcome was warm, the staff delightful, and breakfasts and dinners excellent. Although just off the A76, the hotel seems a world away from the hustle and bustle. The gardens are beautifully maintained and the hotel buildings charming. Oh to be young and small enough to ride the gorgeous... More

We spent 2 nights here and the welcome we received was excellent. The staff were very helpful and did not mid the fact that we would not return until after midnight. Breakfast each morning was spectacular - the black pudding and haggis were especially good. The room was comfortable and clean and would love to return again if I am... More

Stayed two nights with our two small (naughty) terriers. Fabulously large room overlooking gardens. Dog walks, treats & poo bags are provided. As are dog-beds, blankets & towels to dry off if needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. They provided warm water & shampoo to wash one dog who had rolled in something dead! The food in the hotel was... More

Trigony is a family run ,dog friendly, rambling ,shabby chic country house hotel. The food was first class and prepared fresh by request(including an excellent breakfast).I am an enthusiastic ,but pretty... More

Stayed for a couple of nights in June and had a really lovely time. The hotel was a lot smaller and a little more shabby chic than I was expecting. However if your fed up with so called dog friendly hotels that should really advertise themselves as "dogs just tolerated" then this is for you and your pooch. Great food,... More
