We stayed here for 2 nights in July. The reviews were so good that we were looking forward to a real treat but we were a bit disappointed. The room and en-suite were certainly large but spoiled by mould in the shower , flaking paint on the ceiling and a very soft bed. Dinner was good and breakfast was fine... more

Frankly, this hotel is perfect. The hotel itself is a beautiful redbrick country house set within stunning grounds and gardens. It is traditionally decorated, but has some nice modern touches such as 'monsoon' showers in the bathrooms.
