This hotel is perfectly situated, with gorgeous views and lovely gardens. The rooms are gorgeous and sport a homely classic feel with trendy mellow decor. We had a two course meal to die for..well presented, tasty fresh food that's just a bit different. The staff ( especially Dora ) are kind, helpful and cheery..all in all brilliant!

A friend and myself, along with her two dogs, had a fantastic four night break here at Trigony. It was the most friendliest and welcoming place that we have ever stayed. The food was outstanding and as I have to have gluten free food, this was never a problem, it seemed to be second nature to them. The room we... More

We stayed at Trigony after our December wedding and could not have asked for a more lovely trip. Exhausted after all the planning and festivities, it was ideal to relax and the staff could not have been more welcoming or attentive. Beautiful grounds and lovely nearby walks, we didn't venture far and enjoyed the walk into Thornhill, a Falcony experience... More

This hotel is fairly remote but has extensive grounds that we covered dog walking. It is dog friendly and the staff are so helpful and really pleasant. We had a large room to the rear with its own private garden and conservatory which was handy for cleaning the dog with towels supplied by the hotel. The food was excellent and... More

Cossetted from arrival to departure and made to feel very welcome. The food is so good, there really is no need to dine out. The friendly, helpful staff complete what is a superb package. We will definitely be back in the spring.

Our fifth stay at this hotel. We love it and returning is always a joy. It's an oasis of calm and good food. We usually stay four nights, and love to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of such a well run hotel, with excellent service and fab food. Make sure to try The Botanist gin, which is one of a... More

Great service, nothing was too much trouble. Set in beautiful surroundings the hotel is full of character. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding and the staff were very friendly. I am looking forward to a return visit in the near future.

We arrived at this bed and breakfast style accommodation around 7:45 at night, a little later than average check-in for this more remote area. We had a busy day traveling from Edinburgh and making a lot of stops as we drove south. When we first arrived, they had a little bit of a time finding our reservation and had us... More
