A real gem of a place, the whole house suggests "good taste". Everywhere was spotlessly clean, our room was just perfect and our bed was comfortable and cosy. Ken made a much needed pot of tea whilst we unpacked our bags, and it was accompanied by a couple of lovely pastries. Our breakfast was well cooked, and there was plenty... More

Many thanks for these kind words and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. It is always nice to receive such positive feed back. Hope to see you again in the future (Hurry though as I have decided to win the lottery jackpot and retire). Thanks again More

Cherrytrees is spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Ken is most welcoming and his food cannot be beaten. I'm not normally a B & B person (usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels) but will definitely book Cherrytrees again, and again. Bed really comfy, and a quiet area. Don't hesitate..........book it before everyone else does if you are visiting Dumfries you... More

Cherrytrees B&B is an immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and entirely relaxing place to stay. Upon arrival we were served with a fresh pot of tea and pastries in the lounge. Such a lovely gesture which made us feel even more welcome! I was taken by how relaxing an experience the stay was. The whole place was immaculately clean. Our room... More

Fantastic B+B with wonderful breakfast and very clean and comfortable. Ken the owner and Dougal the (friendly but not jumpy!) dog make wonderful hosts. A friend and I were here for a cycling trip and Ken gave great advice and really went out of his way to help us. Will definitely be back if I'm back in the area!

This was the second time we have stayed at Cherrytrees, and we were greeted like old friends by Ken and Dougal. The house is spotless and beautifully furnished, and I have never slept in a more comfortable bed. Ken's full scottish breakfast very nearly defeated me - in fact Dougal got the last mouthful of sausage. There is plenty to... More

We stayed here for the second time last weekend and were just as delighted with the rooms and breakfast. We had the double room and my daughter and her son and infant daughter shared the twin room. As Ken only has two rooms we had the run of the top floor and spent a lovely evening in the sitting room... More

We only stayed for one night, but ken was more than accommodating in his lovely b&b. Large and well appointed bedroom with lovely ensuite bathroom that was more than adequate. This little gem has all the hallmarks of quality. Lovely beds and quality linen in a quiet wee town meant for a peaceful and comfortable night sleep. And then the... More

A delightful B&B, lovely accommodation, great breakfasts and a friendly, knowledgeable host who can't do enough for you. No exchange of beer vouchers here, just a honest appraisal of a B&B Jackie and I look forward to visiting again and again. Thanks Ken.

Excellent. Wonderful. Brilliant. Superb. Top Class.... You get the idea! We weren't just satisfied with Cherrytrees, it was far above and beyond what we expected and superb value for money.
