We stayed for two nights and found on entering the Inn that the staff were extremely friendly. Throughout the stay I quickly noticed how knowledgable they were on products and were always smiling and polite. The Inn is situated in the heart of a small village with only a five minute walk to the seaside. The food was outstanding. I... More

Planned a circular dog walk to take in a pint or two and a bite to eat enroute. Arrived very early dinner time to be greeted with a wait at the bar for a few minutes, with no staff present. The chef came out, looked at me and disappeared. Then a waitress walked past a minute later with no acknowledgement.... More

We found this pub by accident, driving down the lane to see what was there. We had found accommodation for 2 nights but needed somewhere for the other 2 while we were in Cornwall visiting family. We saw they did B & B so popped in to ask if they could fit us in, luckily they could! We stayed in... More

We stayed in the village and busted the pub for lunch time drinks very convivial we also had an evening meal the great thing is the menu changes based on what is available locally so you have an idea before but the surprise is when you arrive. The food was excellent well presented and large portions, we were not rushed... More

We visit St Ives every year and enjoy dining in the town but needed to try a change in scene this year so looked for an “out-of-town” option. We were not disappointed with our choice, the Victoria Inn in Perranuthnoe which we found – where else, on TA. Despite the 25 minute taxi ride it was worth it for the... More

Stayed for one night earlier this month - rooms are small (which is entirely in keeping with the pub's age) but entirely adequate and with all the amenities one would expect. However it is the location, friendliness of the owners and staff, and most of all the high quality of food (all locally sourced ingredients) which sets this pub with... More

The food in this inn in is far above the average food quality of the restaurants I visited so far in Cornwall. Very fesh and good ingredients and wery well spiced. Only the quality of the service can nit quite keep up with the quality of the food.

This is the first time I haven eaten here since it changed hands recently. If I hadn't been told I wouldn't have known. The menu is very similar, certainly for Sunday lunch. As before, the pub was full, but not so much that it feels crowded; a good atmosphere. The welcome is good and friendly, and the service is very... More

We were there on Good Friday, as part of a big family lunch. My husband and I had the vegetarian dish (polenta with various accompaniments), which was absolutely delicious but much too small! We are by no means greedy gluttons, but it looked more like a starter to me. We filled up on our niece's garlic bread, and had the... More
