My husband and I and another couple cycled about 100 kilometers on the Petit Train du Nord bike trail from Mont Laurier to Mt. Tremblant, Quebec. The first day we cycled half the route and stayed at the Auberge I'lle de France, which was an absolutely charming experience. The owners, Nancy (English/French speaking) and Heiko (English/German speaking) gave us a... More

We didn’t stay here… but we sure did end up spending a lot of time here! The food and hospitality were simply fantastic. After biking for two hours I was craving a simple sandwich and a salad… which was proving to be a challenge! Passing casse croute after casse croute! (grease and fries). We ended up at L’Ile de France…... More

The decor in the room was a little weird but in the end very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was best we've seen in a long time. It was included and well worth it. The owner was really nice And a pleasure to deal with. The place is well kept and if u like quirky rooms the rest is worth it.

Thank you Jason for taking the time to post.. If you ever pass by our Auberge again, If it's not too busy, we will let you pick a room that you may find a little less quirky. We appreciate your comments. Thank you for the nice review. It will be a pleasure to serve you again. More

Thank you Nancy and Heiko for your warm welcome and excellent hospitality during our stay. After cycling 60 km on the Petit Train du "Nord" trail your help to store our bikes and handle our bags was very much appreciated. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, dinner and breakfast were superb. The selection of choices offered for both meals... More

We made arrangement 10 days ago with the hôtel for a one night stay Dec26. Price includes breakfast. We had experienced the breafast before on previous visits, which was very good and abundant. When we checked, we learned that breafast was not served that day and we received a voucher for a greasy spoon spot that I would never recommend.... More

Sept 2014 we biked the Petit Train du 'Nord. All arrangements were made through CYCLOBERGE which worked out well. The first night we stayed at Auberge I'lle de France in Nominingue. It is a very nice but simple Auberge, which could have easily been located in the country side of France. Our rooms were comfortable and the meals were great... More

This small charming hotel is located a block from the P'tit Train du Nord bike path. Each of the 9 rooms has been lovingly decorated in the theme of major cities around the world. The rooms are small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The 3 course dinner served in the hotel dinning room was delicious and at... More

L'Île de France was the first auberge we stayed at during our bike trip along le Petit Train du Nord. Located in Nominingue, Quebec, a quaint village worth visiting for its proximity to surrounding lakes and outdoor activities (swimming, XC skiing, biking), there is good reason this auberge is highly rated on Tripadvisor. First, a word about the restaurant. Though... More

We stayed here after biking down from Mont Laurier, and found a warm welcome, excellent food and comfortable, well-appointed rooms with quirky decors. The Table d'Hôte was delicious and an exceptional value at $29.95, and the home-made breakfast croissants were as good as any to be found in France. An added bonus was that the nearby grocery store supplied everything... More

I was on a two day cycling trip with friends and booked us into this charming Auberge. It was a lovely to find such original and clean accommodations and excellent food and at reasonable prices. Phillippe and his staff are terrific and go out of their way to be of service. Charming!
