We made arrangement 10 days ago with the hôtel for a one night stay Dec26. Price includes breakfast. We had experienced the breafast before on previous visits, which was very good and abundant. When we checked, we learned that breafast was not served that day and we received a voucher for a greasy spoon spot that I would never recommend.... More

Sept 2014 we biked the Petit Train du 'Nord. All arrangements were made through CYCLOBERGE which worked out well. The first night we stayed at Auberge I'lle de France in Nominingue. It is a very nice but simple Auberge, which could have easily been located in the country side of France. Our rooms were comfortable and the meals were great... More

This small charming hotel is located a block from the P'tit Train du Nord bike path. Each of the 9 rooms has been lovingly decorated in the theme of major cities around the world. The rooms are small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The 3 course dinner served in the hotel dinning room was delicious and at... More

L'Île de France was the first auberge we stayed at during our bike trip along le Petit Train du Nord. Located in Nominingue, Quebec, a quaint village worth visiting for its proximity to surrounding lakes and outdoor activities (swimming, XC skiing, biking), there is good reason this auberge is highly rated on Tripadvisor. First, a word about the restaurant. Though... More

We stayed here after biking down from Mont Laurier, and found a warm welcome, excellent food and comfortable, well-appointed rooms with quirky decors. The Table d'Hôte was delicious and an exceptional value at $29.95, and the home-made breakfast croissants were as good as any to be found in France. An added bonus was that the nearby grocery store supplied everything... More

I was on a two day cycling trip with friends and booked us into this charming Auberge. It was a lovely to find such original and clean accommodations and excellent food and at reasonable prices. Phillippe and his staff are terrific and go out of their way to be of service. Charming!

Lovely hotel, with creatively travel-themed rooms. Welcome hot strong shower after 35 miles of biking. Delicious dinner (nice to see lots of locals enjoying as well) and breakfast. Convenient grocery store a block away for lunch supplies. Easy bike storage. Will be back!

After cycling down from Mont Laurier in August, the Ile de France was a much welcomed sight! It was very close and easy to find from the P'tit Train du Nord bike path and about 5 minutes to the grocery store and cash machine. Our themed room was very thoughtfully put together, and there was a secure and well-supplied bike... More

We stayed here on the first night of cycling Le Petit Train du Nord. Nominingue is a tiny town, so it was a pleasant surprise to discover such a delightful small hotel. The rooms are small and individually themed around various countries and capital cities, and to say the least, are eccentric in their interior decor (our Mexican-themed bedroom had... More

From the moment we arrived as a group of 15 friends the heartfelt greeting we received from Solene, the attentiveness and hospitality of Phillipe throughout our stay, and the excellent meal we were served with Lise not missing a beat, we knew we had chosen the right Auberge for our first night on the Le P'tit train du Nord.
