Stayed one night on a Travelzoo deal travelling as 2 couples. Check-in very smooth and pleasantly surprised with rooms. Lovely light rooms with all the usual comforts provided. Dinner was included with the deal and the food was great but service was slightly slow but not a huge problem. Breakfast was very busy and hot food kept running out and... More

Visited with a friend for a girlie afternoon tea. We opted for a sandwich each from the main menu followed by a cream tea comprising 2 fruit scones and a pot of tea. The sandwiches were acceptable but the staff were unaware of the needs of us the guest bringing warm scones with the sandwich rather than after. The staff... More

Thank you for your review of afternoon tea at West Lodge Park. We have taken on board your comments and are reviewing the size of the scones at our meeting tomorrow 2nd April. Many congratulations on your Golden Wedding anniversary ! How lovely to come back to the same hotel you stayed in on your honeymoon. West Lodge Park is still owned and run by the Beale family who were here first time around for you, my grandfather having bought the hotel in 1945, my father having now retired and now I, as... More

Staying in Barnet can be a bit hit and miss so knowing that this lovely hotel provides a quiet interlude after a day at work is amazing. Rooms can be a bit quirky but if you're willing to forgive this you will enjoy the experience immensely
