I stayed here recently but found the place very disappointing. My room was a small single room and was cold. The radiator was hidden behind curtains, my head board and a bedside cabinet so little heat actually reached the room. An extra heater was supplied in the wardrobe but when I tried it, it seemed to spend more time off... More

I echo the previous reviewer on room 6. It's a shoe box with an en-suite the size of a match box.You could not get a kettle under the tap on the sink it was so small. £70 for this room must be the the most expensive we have ever stayed in if you work it out on £per square foot.... More

Didn't stay here, but tried it for food. Not disappointed. Full English was cooked to perfection, and my wife's only complaint was that she had to leave some of her Toastie as it was more than she could eat. Nice, friendly staff and good value.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. The room was not huge, but it had everything you need. Kettle etc, telly, spare bedding and complimentary shower gel etc. The hand book in the room was very informative, with places to eat and general information. The breakfast was cooked to order, with plenty of tea and toast. For those who prefer lighter fair, there... More

Guest house, it is in the title, this is a guest house in which Christine and Clive make you a welcome guest. The place is well decorated, homely and a welcome place to stay. The stairs are steep so take that into consideration but don't let it put you off. The room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, en suite... More

Amble is putting a lot of effort into its harbour area, a township of retail huts and new road layout. The wildlife is playing its part too with Dolphins just outside the harbour entrance. The Harbour guesthouse is in the middle of this area. Quiet and clean what more can I ask.
