A warm welcome with a cup of tea and muffin on our arrival. Very pleasant room with a comfortable bed. Lovely views from the bedroom windows too. If the weather had been dryer, we would have enjoyed walking around the gardens. A delicious full breakfast was served with a smile. We would definitely stay here again. The only difficulty was... Lovely views and welcoming hosts. Fantastic views from balcony room. I always got a hot drink on my return from walking the numerous trails in the area. Jean is very knowledgeable. Lovely breakfasts. Highly recommended. Rachelle J.

Such a welcoming stay, I could not have asked for a cozier place to stay. Jean could not do enough for me and made me feel as though I was returning home from years away. Both her and Phil are enjoyable to talk to. Fantastic hosts in such a pretty location with lovely views over the reservoir. I will definitely... More

I was lucky enough to be advised to stay at Kinrara. Fantastic property with wonderful gardens and views of the fabulous scenery. I stayed in the single room which is a large beautifully decorated room with my own wash basin and tea & coffee facilities and plenty of plug sockets and free wi-fi which are necessary in this new technological... I stayed at Kinrara in the single room which is both spacious and comfortable and the whole house is spotlessly clean. Jean and Phil made me feel most welcome from the outset with a good brew and a muffin. The house is set in a picturesque area surrounded by rolling hills. At breakfast, there was a variety of juices and... More

Another enjoyable stay at this gem of a B & B with its fantastic views over the reservoir. Jean & Phil are the perfect hosts, nothing is ever too much trouble! The rooms are very clean and comfortable and one even has a balcony with glorious views overlooking the reservoir! Breakfast is a delight with everything you can think of... More

My Boyfriend and I stayed here last week while visiting Lyme park. Jean went out of her way for us at every turn. My boyfriend had booked the room as a surprise as he planned to propose (suppose I should be saying fiancé) Jean picked him up a bottle of Fizz and chilled it for him as a further surprise... More

This was our 4th visit and I am still amazed at the view from the balcony room, it's a pity that my camera is not up to it. After a stressful journey Jean's welcome relaxes you very quickly. Breakfast is a comprehensive choice, well cooked and well presented. Not having an en-suite in the balcony room is a positive as... More

Kinrara is in a stunning location in the Derbyshire hills. We stayed here one night, and could happily have stayed longer. Jean made us very welcome, and, although we'd booked a double and a single, she offered my elderly father-in-law a more accessible double room (which he declined). Because we were going out with friends, and unsure what time we'd... More
