We were warmly welcomed and made to feel immediately comfortable and at home. Free to come and go at will as the day permitted, our days began with an excellent breakfast. The gardens are spectacular, as are the views. Kinrara is a really nice place to stay.

Lovely welcome and hospitality from Jean in their gorgeous B and B, tucked in on a hillside in Whalley Bridge. Stunning views over the Canal reservoir and hills, and their beautiful garden is just the start. Good bedrooms, great breakfast with many choices ordered the night before, friendly and informative chats. Set the bar high on our first night.

Absolutely perfect, lovely host, very comfortable rooms, very nice breakfast (lots of choices) and beautiful views over lake and hills. The garden is also stunning! We chose it because it is a short drive away from Hope where our 20 mile walk started. Thank you Jean for making our stay so enjoyable.

We had only one night at Kinrara, but wish we could've stayed for longer. The setting is stunning with beautiful views and our room was clean, comfortable, with a balcony, it was perfect. Jean and Phil are the most welcoming hosts and made us feel at home straight away. The breakfast was great too, with lots of choice. We hope... More

Jean very kindly took us in at 5 minutes notice when there was a misunderstanding on a booking elsewhere. She welcomed us warmly and we had a relaxing stay in a comfortable and interesting room. The house is lovely, and the views and garden stunning. Our breakfast set us up for the day, and Jean advised us how to find... More

I had a wonderful stay with Jean and Phil, I felt very welcome during my stay. The room was clean and we'll suited for my needs. Breakfast was amazing. I loved ordering it the night before. Thanks for clearing the drive of the unexpected snow so we could make it out safe!

Thank you so much for a perfect review. We are very pleased that you felt at home and were comfortable with us. Snow levels are amazing at the moment, so no doubt we'll be shovelling the drive clear again tomorrow to let out our current guests! Perhaps you can come in the summertime next time around! More

We only booked one night here but would love to come back. Jean and Phil are the most friendliest, helpful people and made our short stay so very pleasant. Greeted with a pot of tea and the offer of scones on arrival. The night of our stay there was snow and Phil kindly cleared all the drive so we could... More

This is a good quality, traditional B&B. Warm welcome, clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a good breakfast. My friend and me enjoyed a circular short day walk, recommended by the owner, with no need to drive anywhere. Thank you Jean.

Our stay at Kinrara was made very comfortable and welcoming. It was very homely and the owner was very helpful. She went above and beyond what you would expect from a B&B as she was very knowledgable about the local area. We went walking and she very kindly mapped out walks for us which were very enjoyable. After the walk... More

First night of our annual cycle trip, and we were booked into Kinrara. Apart from having to cycle up the hill at the end of the first day being back on the bicycle, what a good choice it was. We have experienced a good range of places, and with the comfort of the house alongside Jean's warmth and welcome, this... More
