This is a good quality, traditional B&B. Warm welcome, clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water and a good breakfast. My friend and me enjoyed a circular short day walk, recommended by the owner, with no need to drive anywhere. Thank you Jean.

Our stay at Kinrara was made very comfortable and welcoming. It was very homely and the owner was very helpful. She went above and beyond what you would expect from a B&B as she was very knowledgable about the local area. We went walking and she very kindly mapped out walks for us which were very enjoyable. After the walk... More

First night of our annual cycle trip, and we were booked into Kinrara. Apart from having to cycle up the hill at the end of the first day being back on the bicycle, what a good choice it was. We have experienced a good range of places, and with the comfort of the house alongside Jean's warmth and welcome, this... More

Jean is an excellent host with all the qualities of a friend. Warm welcome, lovely room with stunning views of an Autumn landscape. The best place to stay while we enjoy visiting our son and his family in Whaley Bridge over half term. This is our second stay and we will certainly be back. Thank you Jean and Phil

We stayed three nights in September at the lovely Kinrara Bed & Breakfast. The warm welcome on arrival plus the extremely helpful local knowledge, comfortable room and lounge not forgetting the marvellous breakfasts, made this a truly exceptional stay in a beautiful part of the world. Thank you Jean and Phil.

Such a lovely warm atmosphere at Kinrara and the hospitality was second to none. We were treated like friends not guests. The location was perfect and the garden truly amazing. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

I found Kinrara at random while planning a short walking tour of the area. I couldn't haven chosen better as from my arrival to my departure it VIP guest treatment all the way. From the welcoming coffee and cake on arrival to the ample well cooked breakast that kept me walking all day. Jean even made sure I took some... More

Whilst cycle touring, we decided we didn't want to go any further that day than Whaley Bridge. We asked at the post office if they knew of any B&B's and they directed us to one across the road. There was no answer there, so I used my phone to google and found Kinrara, I'm glad I did because it was... More

Myself, my Thai wife and our young four year old daughter recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kinrare B&B. The house itself has a wonderfully unique charm and homely character, and the garden is magnificent - it's like the perfect secret garden. Indeed, we liked it so much we were tempted to stay there in the garden rather... More
