My husband and I just spent 5 nights at the Masseria during our second visit to Puglia. The Masseria has been opened for 4 years and has been beautifully done, from every angle you look the landscaped gardens are beautiful, it is an oasis of relaxation and tranquility, with a gorgeous huge swimming pool. We were welcome and made to... More

The first word we heard, when entering the Masseria, was "Welcome ! " A warm welcome by Antonio, with the tour of the Masseria, enthusiastic as if were the first guests ever. That warm and welcome feeling stayed the four days we had the pleasure of staying at Chicco Rizzo. The service as provided by Luca and Antonio, always nearby... More

We loved the location of this masseria, because we could be at either coast in 20 minutes' time. The pool is really beautiful, and we enjoyed our swims there very much. But, in three afternoons at the pool, only once did someone ask us if we wanted a drink - the bar seemed closed the rest of the time despite... More

The property is jaw dropping, not at all what I was expecting, set around a stunning courtyard and behind that one of the largest and best looking pools I've seen at any kind of hotel. The rooms were less wow factor (perhaps a bit small), but still extremely well presented. The staff went out of their way to be helpful,... More

We had a lovely few days in chicco rizzo. It's really beautiful (amazing pool). But more importantly the service was brilliant - the staff couldn't have been more helpful. And the food was fantastic - loads of fresh veg from the farm, and cooked perfectly. And loads of it. One of the best meals I've had. (Breakfast was yummy too)... More

Large and elegant farm buildings round a courtyard, attractively converted, with large swimming pool in adjacent walled area. Attractive bar and a large dining room which, like the whole complex, felt more like a wedding and conference location than an upmarket rural agriturismo. We were greeted by the owner and made very welcome by the newly-engaged manager, who are clearly... More

We spent a wonderful week at the masseria. The place is very quiet, allowing us to relax which we really needed. At the same time, if we needed to ask anything (advice on places to visit, use of the bikes etc) someone was always there for us. We had a very friendly welcome from Leon when we arrived and he... We stayed here for two nights in August 2013 and have to say that the place is just amazingly beautiful. It is a great location from which to visit the amazing Salento region, a short drive from Lecce, Otranto and Gallipoli while still enjoying the calm of the surrounding olive trees. The staff make you feel at home.

We stayed three nights at this beautiful masseria which now has the bonus of a lovely large pool area. Breakfast is lovely and buffet style with fruit, yoghurts, cakes and pastries, juices. We had dinner there two nights as well ... multiple seasonal courses and wine on the terrace ... very nice. Free wifi is also a bonus. Would definitely... More

Very good spot in the Pugliese countryside. Staff is very friendly and competent. The dinner on the terrace is a very good souvenir, try the wines they recommend, you will be delighted. Maybe you can ask the hotel nextby to share their swimming pool.

Every day the most enchanting seaside resorts of Salentine Adriatic coast can be easily accessed: Torre Dell'Orso, San Foca, Roca Li Posti, Laghi Alimini and Otranto. Just a few kilometers further and there is the Ionic coast with Porto Cesareo, Porto Selvaggio and Gallipoli.
