Yet again, another fabulous meal at our 'local' castle. As usual, good choice of food and wine, great service and attention from the staff and most improtantly fabulous tasting and presented food. As such good value as well. We now think of having a meal here over ever going in Stirling centre or furhter afield - be it for a... more

Fantastic hotel in a very quiet location just off the main road from Stirling to Alva. Peaceful and quiet, with a fantastic restaurant. Try the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties in a Whsky sauce. A starter to die for! The rooms are excellent and the staff are very friendly and courteous. Great value for money hotel that you will find hard... more

This was our second visit to this great wee hotel. The food is wonderful , the decor quirky with a medieval twist and the fantastic staff go just that little bit further to make you feel that you are special. And let's face it , how often do you get to stay in a castle ........ more

During our (too short!) trip around the Highlands, my husband and I booked a night at this hotel as a splurge (even though it ended up being the cheapest hotel of all that we stayed in!). We looked forward to it the whole time and when we finally got there we were not disappointed! Claire gave us a friendly welcome... more

Nicely decorated room, lovely views, four poster bed for just £70 and good food. However, the stairs an landing need attention as they still look like they're from the old peoples' home. Creepy. Good friendly service from staff. Biggest negative was that we could hear people coming up and down stairs - not good during the night - and kids... more

Do yourself a favour and book a night or two in this lovely castle located out of Stirling, Scotland. We stayed for one night in this warm and friendly castle and I was impressed by the standard of the food and quality of the lodgings for the price we paid. Upon checking in we were greeted by both Claire and... more

We spent two nights at Broomhall and wished we could have stayed longer. The castle is a bit contradictory in that from the outside it is truly a castle proper but on the inside you can see where it has been used for other things over time. We were given a history of the property by the owner and was... more

My wife and I stayed here recently, sadly for only one night. We were travelling through Scotland and made a late booking which resulted in us being given a beautiful upgraded room for one of the lowest prices we had paid during our holiday. The "castle" is peaceful, the staff are friendly, the food and service excellent.Wine a bit overpriced... more
