We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary so that we could easily visit Stirling, Edinburgh & Glasgow. Our room was simply stunning with a very large comfy bed and we even a seperate sitting room area (claw foot free standing slipper bath and roomy walk in shower in the en-suite too). The staff were all very friendly and helpful.... More

My husband and I were married at Broomhall Castle on 28th April and had the most perfect day. Since booking Broomhall as our venue 2 years ago, we have come to know the staff well and have stayed at the castle a number of times during the run up to our wedding day. Each and every time the staff have... More

Not sure what was going on, but we were one of the few if not only people in the whole building. Although the inside was dated and a few things were off (light switch plate was a bit broken), and the old floors creaked, we still fell in love with it. Oddly enough, I couldn't stop thinking about The Shining... More

Excellent friendly helpful staff started our stay really well, castle may need a little TLC but the team are aware and definitely onto this one! Had an amazing meal, with excellent food and the addition of great service included a guided tour by Jay finished our evening off brilliantly. This relaxed atmosphere is excenuated by the chatty welcoming team at... More

Very friendly low budget inn, but not the Castle Experience we had hoped for. Positive: Nice building exterior Very friendly and informal (t-shirt & jeans) one man straff Excellent dinner, OK/good breakfast Close to Stirling, with very interesting attractions Negative: Very little castle feeling over the interior. Hardly any decrations or paintings. Worn and tired 1980ies feel. Provisional repairs. Every... More

My partner & I stayed in this hotel 2 nights ago & got the best night sleep in a long time. We had a lovely room with a seperate living area & a huge shower. We never had dinner at Broomhall but that was only because we ate at another place during our long drive down there. But the dinner... More

Stayed at Broomhall Castle overnight recently and can't recommend it enough. Building is beautiful (with very interesting history). Room was absolutely gorgeous and huge!! Large roll-top bath with separate walk-in shower in the bathroom. We had dinner in the hotel and the food was delicious (good selection on menu). David made sure our entire stay was enjoyable and the whole... More

We stayed at the castle for 2 nights. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our room. We were surprised and very pleased as we had been upgraded to the four poster bedroom. The room was very spacious and the ensuite had a walk in shower and also a seperate roll top bath, again very spacious. As it was... More
