During a recent 53-day hike on the Scottish National Trail I had the good fortune to spend two nights at the Inchnadamph Lodge - it was a scheduled 'day off' for me on my trek. It was all a person in my situation could ask for! The staff were excellent from the time of first contact via email from Canada... More

We stayed recently on a hillwalking trip to Sutherland. Staff at the Inchnadamph Hostel are welcoming, friendly and helpful, particularly Simone. We stayed in a private room as the dorms were fully booked by a Geology party on a field trip. Our room was very pleasant and reasonably priced. Expect the hostel to be busy - this is a well-known... Lovely old converted hunting lodge, good facilities, bathroom with bath! - clean rooms with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, nice owners/staff, what's not to like??! Perfectly placed at the start of the walk up to Ben More Assynt and Conival.

Stayed recently with friends form a walking club. Ideal for this type of group, if you don't mind sharing rooms. The location is a must with the many fine hills to climb. This is an ancient landscape and the area is well worth a visit

I can only say good things about Inchnadamph Lodge. I stayed here with a group on a Geology Field Trip and everyone had a positive experience. We occupied rooms in the Lodge and the cottages – everything is clean and well maintained. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location is stunning and ideal for hiking. Overall great place!

10 friends enjoyed the location and facilities of Inchnadamph Lodge during a walking weekend of mixed weather. The Lodge has everything you need and everything works. Once high-speed broadband reaches Assynt, the Lodge will be perfect! Each return trip to the Lodge goes to show that "It just gets better!" Well done Chris, Duncan and all the team.

A friend and I stayed at the Lodge for one night on 24 August. when we arrived we were made very welcome and shown around by the guy in charge who could not have been more helpful to us. we each had a room for ourselves and the charge for that was more than reasonable compared to other B+B in... We stayed two nights and found the lodge was situated in an excellent location for climbing the nearby hills; particularly the two Munros Ben More Assynt and Conival. We had a four person dormitory to ourselves (there were three of us) so had a degree of privacy. We did find our sleep disturbed though by other guests retiring later than... More

We found the lodge on line and were a bit apprehensive about it. When we arrived we realized there was nothing to worry about. The staff were welcoming and friendly, our room had a great view and the other guests were friendly and happy to task about their own travels. The area itself was like nothing I have ever seen,... Hostel itself is clean, with a large and very well-equipped kitchen, drying room, maps and dry secure storage for bicycles. Friendly helpful staff. Wifi Choice of accomadation. Pay a bit more and get a private room. Breakfast was included in the nightly rate but you need to bring food for your dinner from Ullapool - quite a long way on... More
