The owners where wonderful people. They fixed a fantastic dinner and breakfast. They gave us a lot of good information about the area. If you are biking or touring the area, you must stay here. Mandy and Lyndsey are some of the nicest people you will fine any where.

There is a theme to these reviews - that nothing is too much trouble for the hosts - and I say the same! A welcome overnight stay. Thank you. A must for every hungry cyclist. With the bar opposite it satisfies the thirst too.

If you want a very welcoming and friendly place to stay then look no further. Mandy and Lyndsay are top hosts where nothing is too much trouble. A superb evening meal topped off with a few beers in the bar across the road made for a memorable visit. All you LEJOG riders get yourself booked in here, you will not... More

I stayed in 8 B&B/small hotels on my highland riding holiday and overall this scores top marks. Mandy is just the most friendly person you could meet and it was the only stop where we were immediately offered tea and biscuits on arrival. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equpped - good stock of tea, coffe and biscuits with... More

Nothing was too much trouble for Mandy. She provided vegetarian food, packed lunches, lovely fresh fruit as well as the usual options at breakfast and was prepared to fit in all meals around our convenience.

"Would you like a cup of tea?" Just what you want to hear after a five hour drive! Wonderful hosts, genuine dog lovers and first class, flexible service. Three course evening meal was delicious and all for a tenner! Perfect after a long day in the hills. Highly recommended!

I have stayed on two separate occasions at Mandy and Lindsay's B and B in Altnaharra. On both occasions it has been absolutely fantastic. On my first visit I had problems with my car and they went out of there way to help and put me in touch with a local mechanic. On my second i got caught out by... More

Mandy & Lindsay run the best B&B in Scotland. We stayed there 2008 for the frist time and came back every year. The area is wonderful in spring, summer and autumn. The food is excellent and generous - Mandy´s onion soup... yum yum! Our room was very comfortable, great view over Loch Naver. Mandy and Lindsay are the best hosts... More

We stopped here for two nights whilst completing the Sutherland Trail. Mandy and Lindsay made us feel very welcome, and they really went out of their way to accommodate our itinerary by picking us up from a walk end one day, and then dropping us off in the same place etc etc, and then picking us up at the end...
