Our hearts sank on arrival on seeing the tatty and run down state of the exterior. We were met in the car park by the owners enjoying their garden. Third leg of our Scotland tour and our hearts sank on seeing the outside. However the welcome was very friendly and warm. Rooms in desperate need of upgrading though clean. Dined in the evening which was exceptionally good. Breakfast didn't disappoint either.

We are a little overdue in submitting this review, as last October, we were obliged to take issue with Dunroamin's proprietors through their booking agency, following our visit to the hotel in September 2011 with US clients. To say that Dunroamin is run down would be an understatement. The premises are pervaded by an unpleasant odour, the owner's two dogs...
