I stayed at the Tushielaw Inn in the mid sixties as a child with my parents and absolutely LOVED it. What a beautiful place. I remember roaming through the landscape with our labrador (long dead of couse!) I do hope whoever buys this place won't spoil it's heritage feel and quiet simplicity.

Friendly welcome, clean room, lovely view, piping hot water, room heating on demand, individual bedside lamps (my personal benchmark of hotel necessaries), reasonable evening meal which included a starter of local haggis and freshly picked raspberries, good value wine, full breakfast with fresh cafetiere so why only three stars? The owners, we understand have the property up for sale due... More

If you are walking or cycling there is nowhere else to stay for miles. Our room was a good size and reasonable value under the circumstances but sadly there was no hot water and after 80 miles cycling in pouring rain this was a slight dissapointment. The owners are trying to sell the place and are doing well to keep... More

The inn is in a great location - middle of some lovely countryside. Food was very good, with one of the best steaks I have ever had. Room decorated well with great view

A quiet charming place away from traffic and no mobile signal, bliss. The owners were friendly, food was good and plentiful. A nice relaxing break with fantastic views from the bedroom. It is a fair distance from shops but worth the drive to stay at a nice place.

The pub is set in a stunning rural location next to the river. It suited our needs adequately and I would definitely agree with the other reviewer about the great views from the bath (enjoyed with a glass of wine)!! The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
