Very clean and well appointed and welcoming. The breakfast was very good and it was a great stop for our journey back home from the north of Scotland. The property is set in a fairly new housing estate but the properties are well spaced ou and with pleasant outlooks.

The Meadows is situated in a quiet road, has lovely clean and comfy rooms and the most wonderful breakfasts, with a good choice of menu. You can also choose what time you eat! Margaret, who runs the B and B, is friendly and helpful. There is a great, relaxed atmosphere and it provides tremendous value for money.

Very comfortable en-suite rooms (I've stayed in all three of them) in a quiet and peaceful setting. The breakfasts are excellent, Margaret is most welcoming and the beds are very comfortable. You can either drive into Edinburgh in about fifteen minutes or jump on the bus, visit some of the attractions in the area (Rosslyn Chapel is only a short... More

We had a lovely room, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and we had our choice of items for the meal. Suggestions for traveling into Edinburgh via the bus were very good and much appreciated! We would stay here again.

We stayed here quite some time ago but I will never forget the odd feeling that we were somehow imposing, I prefer a bath to a shower they said thats fine,so I had a bath in the bathroom upstairs in the house after a while he was tapping on the door asking if I was nearly finished. My parner does... More

Just stayed there for a week. Margaret was lovely. Breakfasts good and plentiful and there was no problem when I changed mine on the second day because the full english was far too large for me. En suite room very clean and comfortable. A very good area for touring. Went into Edinburgh on the park n ride which was much... More

A wet night in August, but why drive all the way to Grangemouth when the road will be fine in the morning. Why have another night in a premiere inn when you can get looked after? Very helpful in letting me borrow the umbrella for the short stroll into the village; excellent breakfast in the morning-as requested.

A warm welcome when you arrived. We had two dogs with us and they were made very welcome. The hotel was light, airy, clean and a lovely breakfast made early for us as on our way to dog show

We found the meadows easily by sat nav. We were shown to our room which was cosy. We stayed two nights. Breakfast was enjoyable if not always exactly as ordered but good all the same. Our major problem was at check out. We began to be harassed by our hosts at 1030 to check out. When asked what time check... More
