Recently visited and had a superb meal. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Menu was small but very varied and obviously fresh. Hot smoked salmon was great value and burger was fantastic, Lovely wine too with a beautiful backdrop looking down Coldingham Sands

We went to Coldingham Bay and parked in the car park opposite the St Vedas Hotel. The next day I couldn't find my husband's prescription glasses and thinking they may have fallen out of my bag in the car park phoned the hotel to see if they had been handed in there. The lady from the hotel went into the... More

We had the most wonderful meal at St Vedas. The view on to the beach was just perfect. Food was very well presented and the quality was superb. I had the mussels as a starter, although the portion size was more what you would expect as a main. The staff were very attentive and friendly and there was an all... More

We stayed here as a last minute thing. It's a stone's throw from the beach and you can easily walk back into the village which has a couple of half decent pubs. There is also a restaurant at the camp site, but didn't go in there. Hotel badly needs done up. The bar is soulless and shut when we got... More

Although we have visited Coldingham for the past 20 years we had never stayed in St Vedas. The location is just great, right on the beach with views from the bedrooms. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast each morning was very good, with eggs from their own hens, unlimited tea/coffe/toast/juice. Wally & Pauline are a very friendly couple... More

I stayed here in 2002 shortly after the current owners took over and have just returned after 11 years. The first time my daughters were 5 months and 2 but this time they cycled there from North Berwick. The location was even better than I remembered. The bay is simply gorgeous. The surf was up and many were out on... More

What a great beach, been coming to Coldingham for years and never realised that one could actually stay right on the beach. Love this little corner of Scotland, will hopefully be back very very soon. Only an hour from the central borders, incredible.
