The house was very elegant and the bedrooms clean and the beds comfy. The dining room looks out over the bay. The lovely lounge had a roaring fire which was lit for us each evening. Bill and Jane made us very welcome and couldn't have been more helpful and obliging. Breakfast was excellent. Tea and coffee and shortbread always available.... More

We had a very warm welcome after a damp days walking. The bedrooms were large and comfortably furnished and we could hardly take our eyes off the panorama through the bedroom and bathroom windows (ask for a room at the front). Delicious, freshly cooked breakfast with lots of choice and fresh fruit. Large lounge and dining room. Delightful gardens too,... More

The breakfasts were incredible!............generous and well presented with a most amazing choice (including Eyemouth kippers). The views over the bay are just stupendous. The rooms in the guest house (and we have stayed in five of them over the last few years) are scrupulously clean; the furniture is elegant, charming and comfortable with a range of antique pieces throughout the house and the garden. The welcome from the hosts is always welcoming. The breakfasts are tasty and served in a dining room that... More

What a shame this place could be fantastic but it is run my two owners that should have retired some time ago, they are friendly and helpful but just not up the task of running a guesthouse/hotel. Our room had old blankets instead of a mordern clean quilt, the furniture is made up of old tat antiques, not the sort... More

This B&B has the perfect position n overlooking a very attractive sandy cover. Only able to book for a single night, which suggested popularity, at £95 pn per couple. On arrival we received a very warm welcome and offered tea and biscuits in the attractive and comfortable guest lounge with sea views ... great start. Our bedroom was spacious again... More

Perhaps this will not be accepted as a review. My disappointment is not with the Guesthouse itself but with management. I contacted them with regards staying there. Received e mail saying they would e mail me on the Monday. That Monday is three weeks tomorrow and I'm still waiting! In my book a poor reflection on management, and despite wanting... More

We arrived here on Valentine's Day afternoon for a romantic break, and we could not have been more delighted by the beautiful house filled with antiques and the wonderful warm welcome. When we arrived there was a lovely log fire burning in the lounge which was lit especially for us (we had the advantage of being the only guests so... More

This is an exquisite B & B. Some members of my family had stayed before, but I hadn't. I had the whole top floor to myself with outstanding views of Coldingham Bay. We virtually took over the guesthouse, being a party of 8 (7 adults and one child) and were incredibly well looked after. The proprietors were friendly and did... More
