Mambeg is a very old house set in lovely location with views of the loch. The rooms are large and clean with spotless white bedding and fluffy white towels. The owner is welcoming and helpful. Freshly cooked breakfast with a good choice. Would definitely stay there again.

We had been touring Scotland and wanted somewhere to rest our heads halfway home. We found this Bed and Breakfast by sheer chance. I am so glad we did . It was in a very unusual spot the views from our room were very interesting. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room on the front of... More

We stayed here on May 3, 2015. It was somewhat of a challenge to find, located on a remote loch. It is a charming house in the forest, with a less than charming yard. We were a bit surprised how nice the house is, set on property that is largely run down. The room was adequate in every way. Breakfast,... More

It was exciting for me to spend the night at Mambeg Guest House and walk around the property since I had stayed there as a child when it was a private home. The owners were accommodating in every way. My room was attractive and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. I would definitely stay there again. The views of the Loch... More

Stayed here for two weeks, David and Marian couldn't have been more accommodating if they tried and I even got my shower changed after mentioning it was cold (fault was soon found and new one put in). The room I had looked over the Loch and the snow that came down while I was there looked stunning on the local... More

We stayed here whilst walking the Three Lochs Way and really enjoyed the comfortable room and home cooked breakfast as well as the beautiful views over the Loch. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. David was a wonderful host, picking us up from the pub in town after our day of walking and... More

We spent a very comfortable night at Mambeg this weekend and even arriving later than we had hoped were welcomed by one of the friendliest hoteliers we have ever had the chance to meet! It makes for a more relaxing stay when you feel so welcome and cared for. Thanks for that. After an excellent and much needed nights sleep in... More

We stayed here by accident when our new house was being renovated and we couldn't bear another night on a building site. We had our dog with us so were struggling to find a hotel. Dave went out of his way to accommodate us; I was thrilled with how clean and beautiful the room was, service was excellent, I wish... More

A terrific B & B. Everything from the booking and arrangements for arrival through to the breakfast next day (after a one night stay) was excellent. The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The view from our room was lovely - overlooking the gardens onwards to the loch. I would recommend this without hesitation. (The goose and...
