Had an amazing week at the coylet inn. Would highly recommend for all age groups to stay at. Fantastic food and the hospitality matches. Very much enjoyed going back to a cosy room for the evenings. Looking forward to returning in the following years to come.

Staying at the Coylet Inn has been one of the highlights of our trip through the UK. Built in somewhere around 1630 - 1650, the building retains the "Olde Worlde" charm that has been attracting patrons for nearly 4 centuries! Rooms are clean and charming, the view of Loch Eck spectacular, and the our hosts, Craig, Pip and Laura did... More

Spontaneously spent a night here after stopping for some lunch. The whole place has lots of character, a great Scottish Inn. Lovely food, good beer. The room was clean and comfortable and have a loo with a view! Real wood fire, welcoming host, a great place to stop for food or to stay the night.

Stayed here last night, and had a lovely time. Our room was a little small, but full or character and lovely and clean, bed was nice and comfortable too. We stayed at the inn for dinner and drinks and was very impressed by everything. They were on skeleton staff due to the bank holiday and were quite busy especially during... More

We stayed for 4 nights for Hogmanay and enjoyed friendly company and service with lovely scenery when the Scottish weather let us see it. A very nice relaxing break. Nice food, good bar, friendly locals. Hogmanay was quiet but in a nice way, more relaxing that what we usually do. A nice meal, drinks and fireworks by the loch.

We stopped at the Coyett again after leaving for the Whistlefield two years ago because of the attitude of the owners. The new owners are fantastic and I would recommend it to any "Walkers" who love "walking" during the winter months. The rooms are clean and quiet I've stopped in both 1&4 and they both have fantastic views. We were... More

We were staying locally and had several delisous meals here. The Service was really good and the owners were really friendly (including the dog). The building is very rustic (I think an old coach house)opposite is a beautiful loch ,which the dining room faces .

We booked as an extended family for lunch and as with most families hic-ups happen ,so despite being an hour late by the time everyone got there(we did phone ahead). the resteraunt managed to cater for us despite having a large birthday family plus other customers...so a big thank you. So ok the decor may be rustic but the food... More

Had a lovely lunch here a year ago and decided to come again this year when in the area. Lunch was lovely and the servers were very friendly. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. I would visit again if I was back in the area.

Oh dear, I forced my other half to give this place a go for Sunday dinner and when we arrived (after booking for Sunday lunch) we were told it had sold out so had to chose something else. I had the Steak and Ale pie which was nice though the mash and the veg were nothing to write home about.... More
