We have just returned home from a five night stay at the Coylet Inn. The experience was delightful. Craig and Pip made us very welcome whilst trying to ensure all our comforts were met. Yes, they have just taken over the Inn but their enthusiasm was very refreshing. The food at breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. (Would change the coffee... More

We stayed for four nights this past weekend. The owners Pip 'n' Craig were very friendly and knowledgeable and also had a great team of staff. They had only just taken ownership of the inn on the monday and had opened on Friday 4th May. They advised us prior to our arrival that they were new owners and would have... More

We have stopped at this hotel/restaurant many times and have enjoyed lovely meals. Today, was just awful. Service poor but the quality of the food was a disgrace. The lunch menu was very limited, my husband and I ordered haddock goujons and homemade chips. Well, I need say no more. We paid for our drinks and returned the food to... More

We stayed for 2 nights and wished we could've stayed longer. So much to do walks wise and the weather was perfect. Sam has so much knowledge about the local area and places to visit. The food was amazing and risotto worth the 6 hour drive! All in all fantastic views, staff who make you feel as if you're a... More

We stayed at The Coylet for my birthday weekend on the 2nd and 3rd of March. We were given 2 nights for the price of one which was a fantastic deal. We arrived to a lovely warm welcome on the Friday night and settled into our room. I was slightly horrified at the lack of a TV however it turned... More

Hi there, thank you so much for taking the time to review us so positively, it really is important for us to know what we are doing right, as well as what we can improve on. We have decided that Ro is doing a "wheres Wally" - some see her, some don't, dependant on prep and trade, so apologies to... More

We stayed in this lovely old coaching inn for 3 nights and what a fab time we had.We were lucky enough to have the room with the bath in the window, overlooking the loch (room 3). The Coylet is full of character, with a lovely dining room and cosy bar.The meals we had, 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts were all very... More

Hi you two! Thank you so much for taking the time to post such a lovely review, though we are not sure whether we should be happy or sad that our Buster outdid us!!! But, to be fair, he does it alot - again is that a good thing?! It was lovely to meet you both and hope to see... More

We found this place through an advert at eBay. What an amazing bargain. We would highly recommend this place. We took our 11 year old son and although i would advise taking plenty with you to occupy the younger children. Our son wasn't bored at all. Sam and Ro went out of their way to accomodate our every need. The... More

Hi there, thank you so much for taking time to post such a positive review, it really truly is appreciated. It was lovely to meet you all, and you are absolutely right, if you are bringing younger ones, bring plenty to occupy them as we don't get TV or decent wifi, and despite having board games etc. we are not... Hi there thank you so much for your lovely review, it was a pleasure to meet you both, and unfortunate that you had such a sore back, but hopefully next time you can go to some of the lovely spots nearby and make the most of them.
