Stopped by for lunch on a beautiful summers day. The food served was superb and the service first class. The hotel was quite quiet but we didn't mind as we sat outside and had the fabulous view all to ourselves. We will go back next time that we are in the area.

Arrived for a quick lunch but really disappointed that we seem to have been served up last nights fries with our meals. Really spoiled the experience . Great location looking over the loch which could have been amazing with better food. Would not return as result

I stopped off here for a much needed lunch while on a 70 mile cycle. This was about 1230 on a Tuesday afternoon, and there were about 3 other customers when I arrived, so being busy cannot be an excuse. I ordered lunch at the bar, and then took my drink outside to sit in the sun. I had been... More

Hello, I'm sorry to here that your experience with us has prompted you to right a review on all the Coylet pages. I'm not often driven to respond publicly online about things like this, but this has annoyed me. Can I ask do you have a bill or receipt to prove you did order, because we don't and our staff... We stayed here recently and Craig and Pip could not have made us more welcome or have been more helpful, we have not received service this high for a long time. When we booked, asking for a familly room, it was explained that they didn't have any but would be quite happy to put a Z-bed in the room and... More

This hotel is set in an idyllic location with the loch directly opposite. We had a fabulous room with a huge bathroom and a large bedroom with views of the loch. Our bed was really comfortable and we had a small sofa in the window to take in the view. We ate in the hotel on our first night and... More

Just wonderful!! We stayed here for one night and honestly can stay for much longer! Perfect location to explore the beautiful Argyll forest park. Our room is clean and has perfect view of loch Eck. Food (both dinner and breakfast) is delicious and staff very attentive and helpful. Everything is well priced. The residence dog Tim is just too adorable!!... More

My husband and I had a busy day gardening and looked forward to going out for an evening meal. We booked a table for two at eight o'clock on the 10th May 2014. Not impressed at all with the meal or the waiting staff. We would not recommend this place. We are both local and live close by. We have... More
