Had a night here recently. The breakfast and evening meal were good. The room was light and airy. The owners, Sam and Ro, are nice and friendly. Buster is also a brilliant meeter and greeter! The tranquility of the setting cannot be stated in words. Amazing view, peaceful! more

Myself and my wife attended a wedding in The Coylet at the end of February. The whole thing from the rooms to the service and food were first class. Sam and Ro went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. more

My husband and I spent Valentines weekend at The Coylet Inn. I had read the mixed reviews on trip advisor but I had always wanted to stay in the Coylet Inn, since I noticed it when staying as a young adult in Loch Eck caravan park, many years ago. The owner Sam is very attentive with his communication, I emailed... more

Nothing but good words for all the hard work that Sam and Ro put into their business! I went to the Coylet Inn with my girlfriend for about 3 days last year. The staff bent over backwards for us and were more than happy to help. Every morning we woke up to a breathtaking view out of the window, which... more

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. The photos on the hotel website do not do the views justice. You have to go there to experience just how beautiful the area is. My girlfriend and I were made very welcome by the staff for the duration of our stay. They had been extremely helpful via phone and e-mail in... more

I have just had another lovely evening at the Coylet Inn. Great atmosphere, efficient and friendly service and excellent food. The Coylet Inn, under it's new owners, is back to being my favourite little pub in Argyll. more

Just back from our 2nd stay at the coylet Inn. Was slightly worried after reading other reviews that it had gone down hill but not the case just as good as before, if not better, as both real fires lit in the bar and hallway which made it feel really homely and cosy. Had a very enjoyable stay and will... more

We stayed at the Coylett Inn for a couple of days mid week before heading off to Edinburgh. The bedrooms are of a basic standard but are very clean (no TV in the rooms as they do not get a reception). The views of the loch from the bedroom are breathtaking so who needs a TV!? We ate in the... more

Never stayed here overnight but we were booked in holiday lodges locally nearby. The Coylet looks lovely from the outside and is the same on the inside, with a clean bar and open fire and a nice looking restaurant. The scenery of the hills and still reflections on Loch Eck on a crisp November day were brilliant and added to... more
