The Colintraive Hotel in Colintraive, Scotland, is a magnificient B&B where guests have the ability to mingle with the locals, play darts, and eat delicious food. The owner is a wonderful lady and I look forward to a return visit. Jennifer Snider-Tornetta, Sayreville, NJ

We were here in miserable weather, and the bliss of the comfortable room, cozy bed and deep, soft pillows was wonderful. Our evening meal was outstanding. Breakfast was good, but less so than the excellent evening. The surroundings are lovely if the weather holds out, but if not, kick back and relax.

This delightful hotel is ideally situated for the beautiful scenery and the ferry transport link to the other isles. The rooms were comfortable and the welcome was exemplary. The food available was incredible especially in such a small village. Their fish based signature dishes are not to be missed. The welcome I received as a lone traveller helped to make... More

Enjoyed a lovely, fresh lunch with friends; choosing from an extensive menu with loads of locally sourced produce, especially local scallops and langoustines Food was beautifully presented and really great quality. A warm, friendly place which deserves great parses for offering such standards in a small, quiet village.

This wonderful cottage is owned by the Colintraive Hotel. The hotel was full so we were offered their self catering option Eilean Dhu. We couldn't have asked for more, the amazing open plan top floor with large picture window and balcony makes the most of the views across the water to Bute. A wood burning stove, plenty of bathrooms and... More

Had an enjoyable stay in this lovely little hotel! Room was really comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. The food was all extremely tasty but the highlight must be the linguine pescatore(a seafood delight!). Great hotel in a beautiful location!

My husband and I stayed in October for 3 glorious nights at this small hotel. Our room had wonderful views across to the Isle of Bute. The bed was sumptuous. We ate in the friendly bar although there is a lovely restaurant. The food exceptionally good and absolutely all home made. We both look forward to going again and taking... More

I have only ever written good reviews because I do my homework and only select destinations that have excellent review - so having chosen Colintraive Hotel my expectations were realistic for a place at £95 per night. On arrival we were shown to our room "The Cala room" - It was basic and although we did not expect a sea... More

First of all surprised about the food comment. Our Seafood linguine has lots of Seafood in it, sorry it doesnt mention fish! Its funny I was sure you were enjoying it as you were wearing most of it down your white trousers! Now the problem was your shower. I took your key immediately you said there was a problem, I...
