We just stayed here for 2 nights last weekend after our wedding as a little mini honeymoon before our holiday next month. We stayed in one of the hideaway lodges (Cameron) and had the most amazing time! The spot is absolutely beautiful and secluded with gorgeous views of the mountains. The lodge was absolutely spotless (the cleanest place I've ever... More

We visited Glen Clova while staying with friends who live in the area and are regular visitors. We were given a warm welcome by David Harris the proprietor who is also the chef. He is clearly passionate about the food he serves and was more than willing to cook food to the customer's own requirements. He gave us a run... More

Sorry for the late review! Stayed here in December 2013 in the Hideaway lodges. We were allocated the Wallace lodge which is the least private of the 3. When I first entered, it exceeded all expectations. The layout and quality of the finishes and furniture is excellent. All utensils and dishwasher tablets etc provided. I had an excellent birthday and... More

We had an intimate wedding after party over the weekend of 08/08/14. The most spectacular experience! Fabulous well maintained lodges, great housekeeping and warm welcoming! Bravo for equipping the lodges with sauna and hot tub!!! It is not easy to find both but they certainly make your stay very special! Especially for people like us that appreciate sauna so much!... Short notice walking day plus overnight with old pal. Turned up at 9.30 am, got twin bunkhouse and set off walking! Back at 4.30 - quite posh hotel, but had a great real ale in very atmospheric and friendly climbers' bar. Moved to tables outside front of hotel, having a sly whisky in the sun - could hardly be more... More

On Sunday 27 July given that it was a beautiful afternoon and we love the drive up to Clova, we thought we would head up the glen (approx 35 miles from our home) to savour the scenery and enjoy a cup of coffee and a nibble. On arriving at the hotel at 5.10pm we confirmed we would like coffee and... More

Dear WilmaBroughtyFerry Thank you for your feedback, and advice on hospitality. We will of course endeavour to do better in future. In response to your comments I would however like to say that our popular coffee house does indeed close at 5pm. You may or may not be aware that we had hosted a function last weekend for over a... We visited this years Music and Beer Festival at Glen Clova. Staying in a luxurious Glen Lodge was amazing and well worth the upgrade. We enjoyed the views, space and of course the hot tub and sauna. The event itself was even more professionally run than our previous visits and it just gets better and better. The Band 'Cherry Bomb'... More

Scottish hospitality at it's best. Quaint period building in stunning surroundings. Local produce, cooked to perfection and served by friendly staff with a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. No skimping here, portions are man sized. 2 courses for 2 with 2 soft drinks each, less than £40. No doubt I'll go back but I may consider using the facilities... More
