On Sunday 27 July given that it was a beautiful afternoon and we love the drive up to Clova, we thought we would head up the glen (approx 35 miles from our home) to savour the scenery and enjoy a cup of coffee and a nibble. On arriving at the hotel at 5.10pm we confirmed we would like coffee and... More

We visited this years Music and Beer Festival at Glen Clova. Staying in a luxurious Glen Lodge was amazing and well worth the upgrade. We enjoyed the views, space and of course the hot tub and sauna. The event itself was even more professionally run than our previous visits and it just gets better and better. The Band 'Cherry Bomb'... More

Scottish hospitality at it's best. Quaint period building in stunning surroundings. Local produce, cooked to perfection and served by friendly staff with a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. No skimping here, portions are man sized. 2 courses for 2 with 2 soft drinks each, less than £40. No doubt I'll go back but I may consider using the facilities... More

We just returned from a 5 day break in one of the luxury lodges alongside the hotel and we had a fabulous break. The lodge was first class with all mod cons and fashionable décor. The sauna and hot tub were a welcome addition and we made full use of these during our stay. The lodge was spotlessly clean and... More

Me and my partner stayed in one if there 1 bedroom lodges and was amazing. The lodge had everything we need and was private. Only one downer was the mattress was far to soft of my partners back and didn't sleep well.

My wife and I had lunch at Glen Clova Hotel on Sunday 6th of July. We have been many times before but we had heard about the new kitchen facilities and wanted to try the new style menu. The specials menu was two pages of varied and exciting dishes. The starters were very nicely presented and generous portions. My wife... More

I have been a regular here for a very long time through good times and less good ones. I loved pooping into the walkers' bar for a hearty Clova lamb casserole or the like after a long day's walking in Glen Doll. Today we thought we would pop in for a shot of caffeine before a shortish day. Firstly I... More

Dear ‘Reel and Jig’ Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel in such detail. I couldn't agree more with your adage of the ‘The customer is always right’. This is the ethos of all we are trying to do at Glen Clova and my previous responses merely confirm this. I am sorry that you have misunderstood them.... More

We have just returned from four days self catering in this hotel "lodge" facility. It is superb. You are at the very end of the Glen where the only noise is the birds and the gentle sounds of the sheep and cows. The wooden loges, there are two with three bedrooms, are very well appointed with lovely decor and comfortable... More

We have just spent a week in a Clova Lodge, the week ending with our son's wedding at Clova Kirk and reception in the Glen Clova Hotel. Many thanks to David and Lynn and their staff who made the occasion unforgettable. The reception meal and evening buffet were really delicious
