The hotel from the outside is very charming, it’s on a main road so it is easy to find. My partner and I stopped for three nights. We had the room everyone on here has complained about, the one over looking the main road and I have to say it wasn’t that noisy at all from the roads, alot quieter... More

We stayed here for a night when on a small group bus tour. The hotel describes itself as a ‘country inn’ – which it is, with no shops or other commercial enterprises in the vicinity. Our room in the main building was clean, a reasonable size, but rather oddly shaped; the bed was not particularly comfortable, and the bathroom just... More

I arranged a trip for 9, particularly Togo to the Braemar Gathering. We had an excellent stay at the Loch Kinord Hotel. Staff very friendly, food excellent, particularly the steak. We all enjoyed a memorable time and great adventures in the area. We will come again

We stayed one night at the Loch Kinord Hotel in August 2014. The hotel is located on a road that proved to be a little (but just a little) busy. Loch Kinord offers rooms or small cottages with complete kitchen. Our room was in the main building with a balcony giving on the parking lot. The room had approximately 200... More

We chose this hotel for its location and description as relaxing and friendly. We arrived early and were helpfully informed of a nearby walk around a loch which we took and thoroughly enjoyed. This was followed, after check-in, by a delicious evening meal of excellent quality. The hotel sells itself on being traditional, and has features such as tartan on... More

One of the better ones, staff friendly, food top rate as was the service also dog friendly rooms with private balconies. Okay very near a busy road so you do ge traffic noise but can you get everything in one location, this family run hotel ticks so many boxes I would certainley recomend it.

This is a hotel for walkers, with trails to loch and in woods in Cairngorm National Park. The staff are the friendliest we have encountered in the U.K. Even volunteered to do our wash. The dinner and breakfast were very good. The rooms in the main building have nice individual balconies. There are also very attractive wooden cottages for families.

After reading the web site and reviews we booked here expecting a great experience. Initially very surprised to find the hotel fronting a main road. We gained impression from website etc that it was in the countryside! On arrival a sign on door said hotel closed for private function. We walked into a wedding party getting very boisterous Reception a... More
