On entering the lodge we were met by a lovely lady; Elsie, who showed us to our room. She stayed and explained everything to us. The room was overlooking the river where the cruisers were berthed. The room had a tv, tea making facilities and en-suite bathroom which was imalculate. The breakfast was a full Irish done to perfection. The... More

Went here several times for sunday lunch definitely worth a visit. Food great plenty on plate & totally fresh. Staff really friendly. Need to go early though can get very busy around 1pm. The only negative thing is the whole place needs modernised.

Pleasantly surprised. Had read the mixed reviews but during a boating break on the lakes we called in for Thursday dinner. It was quiet, save for a couple off locals at the bar. We availed if he £15 Thursday special. I really don't know how they could make any profit on this - a good starter, a ribeye steak with... More

I felt I had to reply to the comments left by rach2311. I am not sure what she expected and I noticed that she didn't stay there but only visited. I have stayed here a couple of times. This is not the Ritz but you wouldn't expect a high quality when you consider the price you pay. However the rooms... More

My husband and I recently toured Ireland and Northern Ireland for 3 weeks as we have a yacht and wanted to pre plan our summer sailing. We were looking for harbours and marinas with accommodation and restaurants to Moor at overnight or for a few days. Firstly I have to say we found some of the most stunning waterways and... More

Dined here on Sunday with friends. The service was very friendly yet professional and prompt and the food was outstanding! Good selection and Everything was well cooked and properly seasoned and the place had a nice relaxing atmosphere, over looking the lough. Keep up the good work!

We had a two night stay in September and had a great time. The hotel has a stunning location with its own marina. Rooms are very basic, in fact they are of a pre-fab type construction but are clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and up for a bit... More

We arrived on a sunny Thursday afternoon. The location was perfect. A view of the lake, boats, trees, swans, very tranquil. the Lodge itself was old fashioned in style, but very clean and comfortable. The room we stayed in was small but served us well. My sister's room was larger. The breakfast was excellent, as was the service. Very friendly... More
