Our company has held two corporate events at Miskin Manor - never again! Amongst other problems, the service was unacceptably slow - management had far too few people serving, and when the numerous issues were brought to the attention of the management, the general manager refused to speak to me despite two requests and his sister offered to 'dance a... more

We stayed here on our wedding night, we visited about 8 weeks prior to the wedding to select the four poster room we preferred, as they have several, we preferred, chose and booked room 10 .......and when we arrived were given room 12! we were too tired to complain. I think the building and setting are beautiful, the hotel is... more

We chose Miskin Manor as the best location closest to our friend’s wedding. First impression of Miskin: tremendous which only equals my sense of disappointment at what we found inside Stayed one night @ £120 priced double room Faux stone plaster corridors and 'fancy' architrave aside. The least I expect is, in no particular order, would be a room with... more

My partner and I stayed at the Miskin Manor Hotel on the 30th November 2009. What a lovely stay! When we first arrived we have been greeted by a very friendly receptionist who gaves us all the information we needed. We have been escorted by the porter of the hotel in our fabulous room. We have booked a standard double... more

I recently stayed here for a Conference, I was most impressed with the helpfullness of the staff, the room service was prompt and responsive and the general atmosphere of the bar, conference rooom and conference dinner was well run and contributed to a very positive outcome to the stay more

Firstly, I must say that until recently I had never heard of Trip Advisor. I discovered it whlst looking for a hotel in south Wales. Hello Miskin Manor. The reviews were, how shall I say, mixed? But being an open-minded individual I threw caution to the wind and booked with them for a three night stay whilst in Wales on... more

My wife & I booked the wedding anniversary package which included champagne, fruit bowl, 3 course dinner, bed & breakfast. The hotel is close to the M4 very easy to find. The private road to the hotel takes you through the extensive immaculately kept grounds. There is adequate parking right outside the entrance to the manor house. Checking in was... more

I had booked a table in the St David's Hotel restaurant in Cardiff Bay for my father's 70th birthday. Eight days before the date I was 'phoned by a waitress to be told that the booking was cancelled due to an 'event' which was taking over the whole hotel. Imagine my reaction! My parents then recommended Miskin Manor and, from... more

We went to a wedding a few Saturdays ago - the day was beautiful but only because of the hard work of the bride and her family. On the day there weren't rooms for everyone who had booked, the meal was delicious, but late so people were hanging around waiting to go in. People missed the photos as they didn't... more
