I stayed at Cae Adda on 29th/30th May and was blown away by the beauty of this campsite. Located on the shores of the lake, with the hills behind it, is the perfect location the pitches are plentiful and flat, some amongst a wooded area. Open fires are allowed in designated pits and would is provided at a minimal cost... More

Four of us headed up to Cae Adda to celebrate my birthday, it was one of the best I've had. We stayed in the Lake Tipi which was amazing. The wood burner quickly got it toasty inside. Fortunately we had good weather so made use of the outside space, it was so peaceful to cook and eat our dinner and... More

Beautiful, very private location. We stayed in a tent, there were various fields to choose from, and because they limit the amount of tents everyone spreads out and no one is too crowded. You can only have fires in their fire pits, but there are fire pits absolutely everywhere, so each group can have their own fire. They have firewood... More

6 of us stayed at the Pine Tipi and it was very comfortable stay. The tipi and side cabin were really clean and well equipped with a BBQ and stove for cooking. The owners were very friendly and relaxed, and it was close by to some amazing scenery, especially the ominous looking building across the lake! Amazing time and I... More

We stayed at Cae Adda over Easter 2013 in the lakeside tipi. This is a great little site, secluded, away from the masses and in a glorious location. The facilities are simple but clean and functional and Gwyn, the site owner, is always helpful. This was our second visit and again the tipi coped with extreme weather. The first visit... More

To cut a long story short Bryn the Owner saved our weekend! Our tent blew away in 70mph winds, he let us stay in the Tipi at no extra cost, I managed to get my car stuck and he pulled it out with his little digger, not a good start to the weekend for people as seasoned as my wife... More

I really don't want to tell you how fantastic this camp site is or I may not get a place next time I want to visit!, Its a small site and limits the amount of pitches so plenty of space if your camping, We opted to stay in the pine Tipi and despite the weather it was amazing, nestled along... More

My friends and I stayed here at the end of Summer 2012. Having stayed there once before, we had been excited to come back and visit. We stayed in the Lake Tipi this time and the Pine Tipi last time. You couldn't fault either of the Tipi's especially for the price. Probably the cheapest Tipi's around and in the best... More

The two of us stayed three nights at Cae Adda campsite and were sad to leave. The husband and wife owners offer a warm welcome and keep the site very clean and tidy. The site is surrounded by woods and meadows and between the high rocky hills of the Rhinogs to the West and Trawsfynydd Lake to the East. We... More
